A well made and nice looking shelf, with very good mounting brackets for real secure fixing. Measurement is absolutely critical on this as there's very little margin for error, so definately measure twice, drill once.....

These floating oak shelves are superb!If you are a competant DIYer then they are a doddle to install and very sturdy, particularly when loaded.Pro tip:Angle the drill down by a tiny tiny amount, this will make the fixings stronger and mean the shelf sits level when it's loaded with 'stuff'!

Really good and solid shelf. Looks great. My only small downside was fitting the supporting bars into the wall. These are very long & solid, that is good for making the shelf strong, but I found two issues.1 I used a small masonry drill to ensure accurate positioning for the fixing holes, but even then I found the deep holes required into the wall meant that the shelf was sloping a little after fixing where I had not been able to keep the drill perfectly level. Was able to fix by exerting force onto the finished shelf.2 More serious....the fixing points along the shelf are fixed. In my case I had electric cables close by and could not position the shelves above my radiators as required without missing one of the fixings. The fixings are very deep, so check carefully for any buried cables, etc before drilling to avoid damage. Suggestion to supplier. If you had another fixing hole, say 10 cm away from existing ones, this would allow avoiding any problems.Otherwise highly recommended, a nice product.

Really lovely shelf, quite easy to install if you have the capability. Arrived much faster than I was expecting. Excellent all round.

Really lovely piece of wood, looks and feels great. had been looking for severaal months for a good quality shelf and found it with this, I gave it a good polish several times and now have a super lookng shelf.

Very sturdy and well made product. It installed very will to our plasterboard.We mounted it above our head in bedroom and put light stuff on them. However the edges are very sharp wish they had a chamfer in case it gets loose
