A great SHTF bag!
If you’re looking for a sturdy pack with an outrageous amount of space for gear, this is it. Hiking, camping, a large bug-out bag, SHTF bag, so on and so forth - this will do it. I have an array of backpacks and they all have differing purposes, but the capacity for gear in this one far exceeds any of the others. It is now my SHTF bag packed with a lot of gear, yet no where close to being full. After I first got it (and before dedicating it as a SHTF bag), my buddy had recently moved onto 10 acres and built a firearm range on it. He invited a group of people out (me being one of them) and I took about twelve of my firearms out there. Well, two of my 12 gauge shotguns don’t have carrying cases and I needed a way to transport them in my truck so that they wouldn’t just be exposed and out in the open (which is illegal here in Florida); they have to be in an enclosed case/housing of some kind so that they are not easily accessible, even if that’s means they’re just in a case at the floor of my back seats. This backpack allowed for me to comfortably carry both of those with the stocks sticking out slightly, while still allowing me to close the top of the backpack and buckle it closed (kind of like Simon Pegg in “Hot Fuzz” while he’s on the horse with the rifles sticking out of his pack). The camo pattern looks great and it effectively blends in to the woods and brush here in Florida. The material and stitching is very well done and it is strong; it is not that thin, parachute-type material that so many backpacks are being made from nowadays. The zippers are made thicker with more material and the straps allow adjustment for a very comfortable fit. And I’ll take a moment to repeat ‘a very comfortable fit.’ Again, if you need a sturdy pack with an outrageous amount of space for gear (that is also comfortable as can-be to wear), this is it. I would like to thank Amazon for allowing me to be a part of their Vine program. My reviews are unbiased, honest, and sincere in an effort to provide you (the customer) with the information you may need in choosing this product or not, and I hope that is what my review accomplishes for you. I would also like to thank the seller “EverestMe” for providing me this product as an Amazon Vine member. I look very forward to owning it and it will be getting plenty of use and exposure to other potential buyers throughout its life with me. Thanks again and I wish you success in your endeavors.

Having a lot of fun with this..
I'd like to think there is an element of playfulness in people who design backpacks like this. What makes a backpack special and useable is really good hardware (zippers, etc) and an imaginative use of the space a backpack provides. The truth is, I, like most of the people who are going to buy this, probably won't go backpacking with it. They won't go hunting with it and they definitely won't, as the seller suggests, go on a 'three day assault' with it. They are going to use it as a book bag or as luggage. Some might use it as a briefcase. For all of those, this fit the bill.Plenty of capacity here--including a detachable sack on the back bottom which can be used for any number of things. Zippers and hardware are decent, though not luxe. The fabric is a heavy, waterproof nylon which is unlikely to tear with any normal use. There are compartments for everything and anything. I happen to like to pack for a trip knowing that I can reach in and get a pair of socks, for example, without unpacking everything to get to them. The way to do that is to have a compartment for socks. Or whatever you need to keep separated. And it looks good. I got it in black. The proportions are right, it looks good on your back or even wearing it into a hotel to check in. PLenty of handles to grab if you need to sling it into the overhead or into a closet. There are even some mysterious things which I suppose I will figure out at some point. This is called a MOLLE bag (which is military speak for modular load carrying equipment or something close) and it has a series of webs sewn to the outside as attachment points (like a ladder, sort of) for additional equipment which you may not wish to put inside of the bag. I don't imagine Jane Weekendtrip will ever use it that way (and neither will I) but it is cool to know it is there.I like the bag, I like the style.

Large and accommodating
Thus vackpavk is large and accommodates a lot of gear. There are side and rear packets, a cover for the opening, 8nterior p9ckets.and a detachable Moller bag for extra items. The straps are wide and padded and make the carry experience pleasant. There.is a attacked waist belt that helps to hold the load and keeps the backpack firmly against the body. The back will easily accommodate most of the items needed.for an overnigbt camping experience or a daily hike.Delivery from Amazon was quick and the package was completely wrapped in a plastic bag as well as the shipping box. This item purchased from Amazon was well worth it. I hope to re-review after the backpack 8s put thru the test of extended use.

Missing a place for a frame...
This is a very nice bag, but without a frame it gets uncomfortable very quickly and it does not appear to have been designed with attaching a frame in mind. If you're using it for a short hike in it would be fine but more than a couple of miles you'll regret it.

Large Pack
This is a big backpack. It has a lot of space for all the stuff you might want to put in there. It also comes with a mini pack that can attach to the big pack or be carried separately. The pack is durable and tough. The zippers are thick and solid. I like how adjustable this pack is and how much space it has.
