Makes beautiful bread
This organic flour makes lovely, tasty bread. Success with every bake. Not all flour is successful in my bread maker but this is every time.

The best white bread flour there is - bar none.
I've been making sourdough bread with this flour for years and, although I've tried many different flours from around the world, this is undoubtedly the best white flour and I order it in bulk. It is an 'artisan' flour which might need a bit of care to get the right consistency, so it may not be great for the 'one size fits all' breadmaking machines, but if you're interested in making really great proper bread, give this flour a try.

Good bread flour
I’ve used this to make sourdough bread ( by hand), it’s okay but not terribly full flavoured, reasonable value

Does not mix well.
I used this for making bread using panasonic. The taste and texture of bread are good but -20% times the panasonic can’t mix dough from this flour properly, which leaves 20-30gm flour dry in a corner of the bread, sometime some yeast stays in that corner, affecting rise. I think this product is stickier than others but with the other brand that I have used for years (and had gone off Amazon for a while), I NEVER have a problem. The other 80% times, this flour makes the best bread possible.

If you want a brick, this is the flour for you.
Bought this for use in a bread maker. It was a disaster. This flour needs far less water than for the normal recipe and I haven't yet worked out how much less. The bread simply did not rise and came out like a brick. Tried it more than once in the bread maker and again by hand, with the same results. I won't be buying this again.

Shiptons flour did not prove when used in normal bread dough.
This flour only partely rose when used for bread with the result that the rolls were dense. Only worked when using a plain flour recipe for bread. Main plus it gave a different flavour to the rolls.
