Excelente pack de micrófonos, funcionan de maravilla, son los primeros condensadores que compro y qye no sean usb, y se comportan muy bien, buena respuesta de frecuencias y claridad en la señal.

Great mic set! Price is right and they sound even better. Seems MXL just put 551 capsule in the 550, but it works, very happy! Mics are good quality and a tad on the bright side. To my ears, they sound good, not stellar, but you can use them. If you like to live on the edge with that dark airy 80's tone with relatively low noise, this is the set for you!

You can feel the quality when you hold the microphone in your hands. Both of the microphones are very clear and warm and crisp sounding. You will not regret buying it.

Microphones arrived when promised and function as expected. The 550 is great for vocals and the 551 is a good instrument microphone. Keep in mind that these are not AKG, Telefunken, or Neumann but they work well. Also, a power supply is needed for these microphones to function properly. I would purchase again and recommend to anyone needing decent condenser microphones at a budget friendly price.
