Keeps my WUSTHOF knives sharp. This is so easy to use I use it often to maintain the set. Probably not as effective as the stone kits but is being used more often.

The media could not be loaded.  Pretty straight forward to use. Bottom of the tool can suction to surface preventing movement. I would still use handle to ensure it does not move when sharpening. I think hardest part is trying to figure out the degree of the knifes. Have not use scissor sharpening yet. For now, looks like my knife is sharpening nicely.

I bought this to sharpen my Japanese style knife, and the adjustable sharpener has been a really neat extra. I threw way our other sharpeners, and just use this.

Ordered this after reading the reviews and all I can say is it saved me from buying a new set. My knives where so Blount and my old electric sharpener broke apart so I got this and man right away as I started pulling the 1st blade thru I new this was a winner. In no time all 4 blades had a sharp edge on them and are now ready for whatever. The style is nice and it stays put and doesn't slide around its very simple and straight forward instructions I hope to have this unit for a while

I bought it looking for a good ratio price/quality, and I am happy to say that it was an excellent choice. Price is lower compared to other similar products, hence I was a little doubtful around its effectiveness, but I was wrong: knifes are back as sharp as they were when first bought, or even more. A very effective and useful tool!

Bought this to replace a Wusthoff sharpener which over time just stopped functioning as a knife sharpener. I was a bit disappointed that the item did not have some type of gauge to get the right angle on the blade. I have professional grade Wustoff knives and want to make sure the blade is sharpened to the correct angle. Lastly, there is no suction feature.

Buy this today. I have a really nice set of Shun knives made in Japan and love to keep a sharp edge on them. I searched high and low for the right sharpener and found this one made in Japan. Knives made in Japan typically have a 16 degree bevel and with the adjustable bevel dial, that is simple to do. The ceramic stones are perfect to maintain edge retention and with a couple of strokes your job is done. Love this kitchen addition.

Perfect angle settings depending on the knife blade. The sharpening pads are robust but gives a sharpening of precision. The best sharpener that could be imagine for the price.

Muy buen afilador y muy fácil de usar, solo hay que tener cuidado de que grado usas con los cuchillos y no se necesitan muchas pasadas para que queden afilados.El único detalle con las tijeras es que si tienen sierra de un lado, hay que afilar el lado que no tiene .

Ik bezit een aantal japanse en franse koksmessen. Allemaal in geslepen in 14/ 15 gradenhoek . Slijpen ging erg goed. Messen zijn allemaal vlijmscherp. Weinig druk op het mes uitoefen bij het slijpen. Compliment voor de fabrikant

En unas 10 pasadas por cada ranura se nota que los cuchillos cortan más. No ocupa demasiado y cumple su función bastante bien. Precio algo elevado, pero contentos con la compra.
