Deceptive advertising but good quality
So sound quality wise it’s great for what it is honestly. The problem is - what it is… what do I mean by that? Well if you look up info on this product, you’ll find even on the mb quart site details stating this is a fully plug and play solution which in my mind means “no splicing, no additional parts needed etc.”. Well at the end of the day it’s only half plug and play. The sun drops right in - a 15 minute install tops and looks great. The amp however is NOT plug and play. To be more specific, it’s a full traditional amp install - which is precisely what I was hoping to avoid buying this kit. However being the person I am, I decided to keep it and finish the full install. If you do it right, the quality is definitely there. Would I have gone this route had I know? That is definitely the question and honestly I’m not sure. All of that being said, if you’re looking for a decent amount more quality precise bass, then this is definitely a great choice. Just be prepared to do the full traditional amplifier installation.
