Ready to go right out of the Box. Easy.
It was quite a challenge finding a 2.5 Gb switch. This switch is great. Easy set up and worked right out of the box. I can push 2.5 Gb to anywhere in the house. Highly recommend.

Looks great!
Easy plug-and-play. I am provisioned for 2Gbps Google Fiber. Using cat6 cables, I connected from my Google Fiber router's 2.5gb port to the Netgear MS105 switch, then from there to a tp-link TX201 adapter in my PC. The speed test result is fantastic: 2.10Gbps down and 1.14Gbps up, with 2ms latency. So, it performs as claimed. Other than that, the MS105 seems to remain cool during use. Quality construction. Yes, there are other similarly-featured switches out there that are less expensive. But I've never been disappointed by Netgear. This unit gets my vote as a solid purchase.

Runs fine and extra port speed works well
I have 1.2gb Xfinity internet service. I replaced my modem to take advantage of the extra speed as my other modem could only go up to 1.0gb speed. I have a firewall after my modern and it can handle 2.5gb as well, so I needed a switch to connect to firewall, and then from switch to my Eeero Pro 6E (which has a 2.5gb port). With all now running through 2.5gb port I dod get the full speed of my Xfinity, of course except to those devices with older wireless or 1.0gb network card. This switch is not cheap but I have always used Netgear for my switches and have never had an issue. So far I have had no issues with this switch. Everything is working well and I'm able to take advantage of my 1.2gb speed or higher speeds in the future. I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again, just hope prices for 2.5gb products go down over time.

Money well spent
After doing some research into why my home internet setup wasn't reaching its potential, I started looking into my switch. I realized that the one I previously had wasn't allowing enough traffic through, thus creating a bottleneck of the connected devices. It took a while, but thankfully I found this switch and I haven't looked back since. Not only is the latency improved, but our speeds have significantly been allowed to increase due to this product. Hands down, it's a great value for what you pay.

Bought this to replace another Netgear switch as I wanted ports with better bandwidth. Simple to install, literally just plug in and off you go. The thing I would point out is for anyone ordering outside USA, the plug is a US plug and mine didn't like the adapter for a UK socket, the plug failed. I have replaced this with a suitable UK plug (Output: DC 12V 1A) and it is running without issue. Would buy again.
