Bright,and so good in small dark places,brilliant under sinks

Great product, very handy for DIY small works at home.

In theory this is a great idea but unfortunately it is poorly executed. The wire frame that allows the lamp to be shaped will soon be kinked into an unrecoverable shape and the wiring within the silicone face feels extremely fragile.The 16 LED's produce too low a light level to be of much use as a work light and this has now been relegated to our backup power cut light.Better solutions exist.

I want to like this a bit more than I do but there are a couple of issues with it. Firstly as others have mentioned the power switch really is in the wrong place, if you want to bend this light around anything then the button is hard to get to. There is a work around which means twisting the neck of the light 180 degrees but that's not ideal and is going to stress the connection inside.The other thing which is not ideal, the brightness, good enough for close working, even good enough for lighting a small cupboard but ideally could be a bit brighter. I think the reason they didn't make it brighter is that it would have an impact on how many batteries would be required and hence how many magnets would be needed. The good thing about it not being too bright is that it doesn't blind you if you accidentally look at it.I think Striker should be commended for this, it's certainly an interesting product in an otherwise crowded and uninventive marketplace.About 5 days later this came in very handy when repairing the light fitting above my bathroom cabinet, with the lighting circuit isolated I could hang this thing over my shower rail and direct the light very precisely, I'm going to add an extra star for that reason alone.I now need to find a place that this could be useful, I think I'll keep it in the car, I can easily keep it under the seat.

Superb, well-designed multi-function light for bench or domestic use able to be adapted over various angles.

Brilliant my hubby laughed at first when he opened this in his birthday box and thought he owned every torch on the planet but after I stuck it over his wheel arch on his car he was very impressed, he had to change a wheel the week before holding a little torch in his mouth

it's ok. First one broke quickly, i sent it back and got another straight away ( good service )The product is a bit bulky but sometimes very handy ( when doing stuff in the garage etc )

great concept, very flexible, good amount of light, batteries last for agesbattery door could have been better designed, as it doesn't take much to open

I bought this as a gift for my neighbor's 16-year-old daughter as she is a now a new driver. We tried it out at night and found the white light to be extremely bright and the red flashing mode ensures other drivers will know where you are if stranded on the side of the road. I suppose if your car's battery is dead and thus hazard lights too, this will extend the amount of time you have if stranded to alert others of your location. All in all, a great safety package to keep in your vehicle!
