Good to play with the grand kids to get them interested in numbers and maths….

These are great for teaching basic numerasy & mathematics. The colourful plastic magnetic wheels have dimples and matching indents to ensure the numbers and symbols align and the lettering has so far appeared to be hard wearing...The fact that they are all individual magnetic pieces also created a real interest in how/why they work, to which my four year old grandson became truly engaged and learnt so much about magnetism alone, that if they only did that, it would make these a great purchase. But he progressed easily on into visualising number work and enjoys manipulating the wheels to create sums for me to do! (I'm sure should mean to be the other way around!).So a great little set, but maybe that is also the only real concern? As they are small enough for a young child to put them in their mouths! So I wouldn't allow unsupervised play with a youngster.
