Senninger Pressure Regulator 25 PSI 3/4" Hose Thread Drip Irrigation Pressure Reducer Low Flow Valve - Landscape Grade High Performance White

I have a several of these and they are well built and work great. Easy to install on a irrigation coupling using a 3/4" to 1/2" Irrigation System / Faucet Hose Adapter fitting. I had an initial concern about the minimum stated flow rate of 1/2 gallons per minute as I have a couple circuits with only seven 2-gal per hour emitters, which equates to about 1/4 gallons per minute, or half the stated min. I checked the Senninger and got a response that they would still reduce the pressure but may vary 3 or 4 PSI higher or lower than the 25 PSI target depending upon the input pressure; certainly a livable tolerance for my needs. Bottom line is they still work OK and I have had no issues with emitter failure or excessive drip rates. They might cost a little more but are a good value.

I attached it to my water line coming from my well. I needed to reduce the pressure to my green house misting system to insure it worked properly. It works great and definitely worth the money

Good addition for the water system.

I bought this for an irrigation system. It is very small and easy to attach. However, I would like to see a better female connector as this doesn't have one that swivels to make it easy to detach from.

For years I battled water leaking around connections and damage to soakers from water pressure from my irrigation pump. Regulating by using the faucet had limitations. This product is preventing the problems, which prevents unnecessary costs from water leakage and replacement of the hoses. A quality product. Fit

Depending on the type of drip irrigation system you have you may need a pressure regulator. Many of the drip irrigation systems are designed to operate around 25 PSI for operation. The Senninger pressure regulator 25 PSI 3/4 hose thread was designed to give 25 PSI and has 3/4 GHT male and female connections. The first picture shows my test setup. You can see the pressure regulator followed by a pressure gauge and a small 4 emitter drip setup. The second picture shows the pressure gauge with none of the emitters running and the pressure is 72 PSI. The third picture shows the pressure gauge with 1 emitter running is about 30 PSI. The pressure with all 4 running was also 30 PSI. This pressure regulator has been working fine in my drip irrigation setup. I created this review to try to make a more scientific description of its performance. I will buy another Senninger when I need my next regulator.

Save your time and frustration; do not buy the cheap ones with holes (they leak out of holes and don't work). This is the one you want to connect to your programmable outdoor hose water faucet. The cheap ones do not manage the water flow properly and drowned my potted plants, these on the other hand, work perfectly and plants are getting proper water distribution again.

Increíble que no puedas encontrar algo tan sencillo como un regulador de presión en Home Depot. Este regulador lo uso para riego por goteo junto con un B-hyve Temporizador de Grifo ya que mi casa cuenta con presión alta y eso ocasionaba que la unión de las mangueras y el aspersor se desconectaran. Con esto solucioné el problema.

This PSI Regulator is a good quality but looks like 25 is not enough for watering 20 big plant containers
