does not work well with windows 10 based PC's - when you switch between the 2 connected PC's, any app windows open on the second monitor get stunted onto the first monitor making it very messy - asked Startech support for help - nothing can be done for windows 10 based PC's - they suggest i ask for my money back from amazon for a return - i found a not so elegant solution from a another developer that save the position of all windows and puts them back when selected via KVM - just annoyed by Startech who knew there is a problem, do nothing to support their customers, but still sell it with no warning - i have dual Dell U2415 monitor, one PC with a 2080Ti and another with dual 1080Ti's - i have a fix (in software, not elegant but works well) and willing to share (as another did for me)

Useful bit of kit, does what it’s supposed to and does it well. Even passes through high refresh rate and G-Sync signals properly, which is a surprise.One niggle is that the USB ports provide so little power as to be entirely useless – even my RGB keyboard is too much for it. That said, I wasn’t planning to use this feature so it doesn’t detract from the product for me – just something to be aware of.

It does exactly what I want it to do... it switches between my pc and laptop.... quickly... and saves me plugging and unplugging my monitor.... love it!!

Easy to use works well with multiple monitors

It's a capable switcher, (though I wish they'd not made the plug/unplug events visible to connected equipment in the same way) and the box is quite a nicely made metal case. However, it suffers from a not-uncommon issue with the power supply. The device comes with a 12V 1.5 A "wall wart". The PSU is custom (so annoying to replace if lost), flimsy, and comes with a series of international adapters which are mechanically pretty awful. I lost severl minutes trying to attach the UK one upside down as the fitting is so bad. For such an expensive device, why couldn't this have been powered over USB-C? I'm left trying to arrange it on my desk with a low quality PSU that comes with an overshort (for my use case) non-standard fitting - which makes a high end piece of kit leave me with a very unsatisfactory experience.
