Good temporary housing
I bought the Exo Terra Standard Faunarium (Medium, Black) for transporting and temporarily housing small reptiles/mammals, and overall, it's been a very handy enclosure. The size is great for small reptiles, insects, or amphibians, and it's super easy to clean. I love the top access door – it makes feeding and spot-cleaning really convenient. The faunarium is lightweight and stackable, which is a big plus if you have multiple animals. Ventilation is also good, and the handle makes it easy to carry around when needed. That said, the plastic isn’t the sturdiest – it feels a bit brittle, so I wouldn’t rely on it as a long-term home. Also, the lid doesn’t lock as tightly as I’d like, so I’d be cautious using it for animals that are strong or known escape artists. Overall, a great value for the price and perfect for transport, temporary housing, or quarantine setups. Just be mindful of the limitations.

Amazing
Great value for money. It’s a lovely tank with good visibility. Sometimes the lids can be a bit wobbly but they are still secure. Perfect for my rescue snails. The mini one for some reason has huge holes in the lids- I needed to keep baby snails and I had to cello tape it up. There is also a small lip under the glass lid…. Be careful if I you have tiny little ones! Great tank and I’ll continue buying.

Good but cracked
This came with a crack down the side and the little door on the top cannot open due to these black bits in the way. I own the medium size one, it is brilliant and has never cracked.

Great size. Perfect for small animal. Arrived really quickly being it has dispatched from Spain. Simply to clean. Easy to open

Perfect Size for Specific Use
Perfect Little Tank for what I needed it for (Ramshorn Snail Aquarium). DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THIS FOR HOUSING REPTILES. This would only be useful for temporary housing while cleaning or setting up a permanent enclosure for very small reptiles/amphibians/fish.

Does the job?
I'll start by saying it does the job. It's a plastic container with a lid that'll hold what you put inside. The vents on the top are nice and small enough (most) bugs can't climb through. Now for the bad. The picture is not what you get, the colours are wrong (the lid is green, not black) and the container has an orange/yellow tint to it and it comes with a sort of beige handle. The lid on the top is hard to open yet feels flimsy and so it seems easily breakable despite having to apply decent pressure to open it in the first place. The item arrived scuffed. There was visible marks which is possibly due to it being shipped without proper packaging. It just feels kind of cheap. I'm interested to see how this will hold up.

Pluspunkte: Stabil und hochwertig: Das Kunststoffmaterial ist robust und gut verarbeitet, nichts wirkt billig oder wackelig. Gute Belüftung: Durch die zahlreichen Lüftungsschlitze haben die Tiere jederzeit ausreichend Frischluft. Praktische Größe: Für Insekten, Spinnen, kleine Reptilien oder auch als Futterbox optimal geeignet. Leichte Reinigung: Glatte Flächen machen das Säubern unkompliziert. Transportfreundlich: Der stabile Tragegriff ist sehr praktisch, um Tiere sicher von A nach B zu bringen. Vielseitig: Lässt sich nicht nur für Tiere nutzen, sondern auch für Pflanzen, Futtertiere oder als Quarantänebox. Fazit: Ein funktionales, stabiles und gut durchdachtes Faunarium, das sich sowohl für Tierhalter als auch für Züchter bestens eignet. Für mich eine klare 5-Sterne-Empfehlung – praktisch, langlebig und seinen Preis absolut wert.

🐞 lo compramos para las mariquitas. tamaño pequeño. Me ha llegado con rapidez y en perfecto estado. Buena calidad, la tapa trae un asa para poder transportarlo con facilidad, la tapadera tiene un buen sistema de cierre anti fugas Al igual que la rejilla que facilita la circulación de aire pero a la vez el espacio que deja es mínimo, lo hace ideal para meter pequeños reptiles. Como siempre ExoTera muy confiable.
