SO MUCH FUN!!!! I have played case solving games from other brands but this was my first Cryptic Killers game to play. I'm such a fan now!!! I loved the story line and had so much fun going through all the different types of evidence to piece all the clues together. Once I found the alibis for the different suspects I was able to eliminate it down to the killer. It was very entertaining and challenging. I will definitely solve more cases from Cryptic Killers!!!

Had a great stay in date night cracking the case of the ‘Murder at the Magic Mirror Casino’! Great game for two people and lasted just over an hour and half. The clues were fun, not to on the nose and made you connect the dots, but not too hard follow. They offer a hints page, but we never had to use it. Will definitely order another mystery game from this company.

Good mystery, makes you think and the storyline is engaging. We played it about 1-2 hours over 3 days or so. But we spent a while discussing different possibilities to get the most out of it.

This is a really fun game for a small group to enjoy! The game was challenging (maybe even a little too tough to solve) and took a few hours to complete. It was well organized and included a ton of extras that made it a good value. It makes for memorable game night.

This case file leads you to Las Vegas, Nevada at the Magic Mirror Casino. Your goal? Find out who killed the once-beloved-and-now-shunned magician Charlie Young. This easy-to-read case puts you in the shoes of Detective Ayers, on the case to find Charlie's murderer. There are plenty of twists and turns with the 26 pieces of evidence you have to sort through to determine alibis and ali-lies. Another major hit for me as a crime-loving solo player. Cannot wait to do the next one. These guys are killing it!

Took about 2 hours and was fun. Not the hardest, but still good mystery.

Such a fun activity for families, couples or anyone who likes to investigate! This is our 3rd case and each one we have enjoyed! You won’t be disappointed!

This was our first one and we seem to have been slower than others, but we did it over 3 evenings and it took about 6 hours. It was well thought out, difficult enough, but not impossible to figure out. We missed 2 clues which was why it took us longer, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. We did it as a couple with our adult daughter helping occasionally. Would be a great thing to do as a group. We know to be more watchful for certain clues the next time. And there will be a next time.

Brilliant. 2 of us sat and did on a free day. 3.5 difficulty rating was nice, we had our suspicions but still had to piece together the evidence and though we had a few avenues to look like, it didnt cause any arguments or 'board game tension' some couples may get. Took about 4 hrs with breaks to start and tend to our fire and get nibbles in the middle. Would happily to another one, really enjoyable. Used a black and red pen and a spare paper pad to complete so we've been able to pack it up and will swap with my parents who got a different case 🙂 The online case files were a nice touch and we loved that when we went to the website to put in who had done it that it confirmed our theories on the other suspects albis.

This is our third one and we heavily reccomend. As a couple who met on a forensics course - it is our bread and butter. Some require decoding messages but this did not which was a nice change. It includes newspaper snippets, police reports, access to emails and CCTV images, takes 1-2 hours and is great fun. Good one to start with, buy it! Printed well and can be done as with as little as one person. Probably good for 16+ but that depends on the people, would reccomend if they are interested as it would make a good gift idea.

My partner and I have a great time working on this. Was easy to understand and took us about 4 hours to solve. Definitely want to purchase others.

Did this with my husband and friend tonight for a cosy night in pre Christmas. We had snacks and drinks and it took us about 2.5 hrs. It was a really fun way to spend a night in using our brains and solving the case by trying to find alibis for the suspects in order to find who the killer was. All of the clues and documents were really well done, detailed and well put together across all evidence in the file. We all really enjoyed it and would defo recommend giving this a go! Can’t wait to try the others in the range now.
