Great little edge grain board
I wanted a smaller, edge grain, durable board with a groove to catch liquids. This board is the perfect size for small jobs. I would love to have one not so thick, so I could store multiple ones, but I haven't found a quality maple version yet. If you don't already have a wooden board, you will need to buy some conditioning products for it, as it is not pre-oiled. I've had this one for a couple months and the initial month, I had to oil it more often than I expected, but it finally seems to have soaked up all it needs. It should be good for just monthly oiling now.

Requires some pre-usage work
The groove is too wide for this small cutting board, the surface is not very smooth (for oiling it is better to use sponge or microfiber instead of a kitchen towel). The JB cutting boards are very dry, not seasoned, so you need to spend some efforts on oiling

Don't buy this
It's not even a month and the board is wobbling. Wood has cracked inspiye of the oil treatment that I did on it before using. My return window juts closed otherwise i would have returned it for sure.

Boos is the best!
I have several large Boos boards so I knew what to expect with a smaller version. My cooking is smaller now that my kiddos are all grown, so I just needed a smaller cutting board to cook for 1-2 people. Boos is always the best! Never disappointed! But don’t forget to season! Once a day for a week (before use), once a week for a month, once a month for the rest of its life. ;-)
