Gorilla Tech Tempered Glass For Sony Xperia XZ Screen Protector

Ita real glass as described. I scratch tested with keys, blade and coins without any scratches showing.It has the oleophobic coating which resists finger prints on the glass. This also makes it very easy to wipe clean should the need arise.The application is nothing new here, your taking off the protective film, fitting it on your phone as best you can, and then taking off the other protective film. Please make sure to do this in the correct order :PThe reason I've given the protector 4 stars is because of the fit. There is quite a large margin around the edge of the glass so it's not quite reaching the screen edge. I'd say several millimetres. I suspect this is on purpose due to the phones semi curved screen, the curvature would have left the edges with a gap in the glass. This wouldn't have been an issue for me except for the fact that even though they shortened the glass slightly to tackle this, the slight lifting around the edge is still there. It's not the first screen protector I've seen like this, it's the downside of curved glass.I'd still recommend it. It covers the viewable screen area without issue, it's flawless glass and the gap I talked about at the edges are no effecting the viewable area.

Poor adhesion on this protector leaving a lot of the screen with a bubble effect due to it not sticking.

I cannot fault the service of this product at all. I ordered this item and it arrived neatly, safely packaged the next day! I even got an extra one in the package as a 'complimentary gift' - brilliant! The application of this screen protector is the easiest I've ever had and Gorilla Tech provide you with alcohol wipes so that you can give your phone screen a good clean before you apply the protector - that way, there's no pesky bits of dust or lint caught underneath. It's too early to tell whether the screen protector will do it's job and keep my phone scratch and thumbprint free but it feels tough and it doesn't affect the clarity of my phone screen in any way. Gorilla Tech give you exactly what they advertise online. This is just a fantastic product at a bargain price!UPDATE 17/11/2015:Unfortunately, I had the screen protector for 2 days in my pocket when I unexpectedly found a crack in it already. I replaced it with the complimentary screen protector that came with my order and within a couple of hours, there was yet again another crack! I was so, so disappointed because I thought this was a great product delivered with impeccable service. I still standby my view that the service is fantastic because I complained to Gorilla Tech and they responded within a day, apologizing for the problem and sent me out two new screen protectors. For such a small product, I've received one of the best customer services. Thanks, Gorilla Tech!

This is a great screen protector, compared to others I have tried. Usually you have to decide between a glossy plastic one that scratches quite easily or a matte one that drastically reduces the quality of the screen. This one was different as it had a strong tempered glass to protect my screen and didn’t lose the quality.This is a very good quality screen protector, which is designed really well. It has a good cutout for the phone i.e., goes round the speakers precisely. The glass does NOT cover the front facing camera or sensors. The glass is smooth and the edges are smooth.I would suggest using it with a case to further protect the screen and the phone itself.As with all screen protectors, you need to be careful on adding it to your screen. If the glass itself doesn't have any noticeable defects like a crack or dent then it's fine. I've installed loads over the years for myself, friends and family and 99% of the time when bubbles and dust happens, its from user error. I know a lot of companies claim it's dust proof and bubble proof because it is when properly installed.Overall this is one of the better screen protectors I have used. Would recommend highly.

I'm giving 4 stars for that screen protector. I have Sony Xperia XZ and it does not cover full surface of screen, still left uncovered around 1-2 mm on each side and screen protector does not stick properly on edges, in my opinion it isn't a big issue because touch screen working perfectly fine. I sacrificed one of the three purchased screen protectors to check durability and I'm impressed it wasn't easily breakable, literally I did that test just because it was quite hard to stick properly so I took it off and put on another one. All of them came well packed and untouched. Definitely I would recommend that.

Right so the glass is good it is resistent To a certain level I think because I haven't tried to scratch it really hard. When I placed it on my phone screen I didn't had any air bubbles.My only issue is that oleophobic coating that they say it has applied on the screen.. Well I'm not sure how much of that coating is on because the screen feels a bit greasy doesn't slide like on my old plastic screen protector or on the phone itself.Update: Few days later and somehow the screen doesn't retain as much fingerprints like before and is much smoother.

After using the usual thin screen protector received with my phone cover, which was an absolute disaster with bubbles all over as a result, I decided to remove it and purchase the Gorilla Glass version. Ordered it late Thursday, received it Saturday, super quick delivery! It was so easy to fit and you would need a magnifying glass to see if there are any nano dust specs underneath. The result is amazing, looks like the glass already on my new phone (a Sony Xperia M2). Of course not tested with a hammer to see if if lives up to its reputation. Must persuade my son who has a Nokia 635 to get one too (don't know if there is one for his model?). One query, the 'Included' list mentions 2pcs of 'Home Key'. These were not included and not sure what they were meant to do. It came with a microfiber cleaning cloth, and alcohol cleaning swab + drying swab - sufficient for the job. A very pleased customer!
