Best monitor for home working and gaming
If you're serious about gaming, this monitor is going to blow your mind. The QHD resolution packs in 1.7x more detail than Full HD, so every scene looks razor-sharp—like you're actually inside the game. And with the 1000R curved screen, everything wraps around you for full-on immersion. It’s not just playing anymore—it’s experiencing. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time mean zero lag and buttery-smooth action, so you're always one step ahead—no excuses when you miss a shot! Plus, with AMD FreeSync, your monitor and graphics card stay perfectly in sync, so there's no tearing or stutter to ruin the moment. And let’s not forget the HDR10. Whether you're creeping through dark corners or soaking in vibrant open worlds, the colours are rich, the blacks are deep, and the visuals are absolutely stunning. Once you game on this, there’s no going back.

It does exactly what its designed for... and More
As a Person who loves gaming, I was looking for a monitor that could offer me both high performance and great entertainment. I decided to buy the Samsung Odyssey G6 after reading some positive reviews online, and I have to say that I am very impressed with it.The Samsung Odyssey G6 has a 32-inch curved screen with a QHD resolution, which makes everything look sharp and immersive. The colours are vibrant and accurate, thanks to the VA panel. The contrast ratio is also excellent, making the dark scenes more visible and realistic. The best part about this monitor is the 240Hz refresh rate and the 1ms response time, which give me a smooth and responsive gaming experience. I can play any game without lag, stutter. The monitor also supports HDMI 2.1, which means I can connect it to my PS5 and enjoy the next-gen gaming features.Another cool feature of this monitor is the Samsung Gaming Hub, which allows me to access top streaming services and console games with just a Wi-Fi connection. I can also watch my favourite shows and movies on the Smart TV platform, which has a lot of content choices in QHD quality. The monitor also has built-in speakers, which are decent enough for casual listening.Overall, I think the Samsung Odyssey G6 is a great monitor for gaming and entertainment. It has a sleek design, a stunning display, and a lot of features that make it worth the price. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a versatile and powerful monitor

Cheaper than other comparable Odyseyy G5 monitors for a reason
[If you want a quick comparison please go to bottom of the review!]||| My Thoughts:I already had a Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU and wanted to get a 2nd to improve my setup. I suspected that this monitor (LS27CG552EUXXU) was the same as the one I already had, but with a higher refresh rate, it turns out that is not the case, and thats my fault for not doing more research.Compared to my original Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU the brightness just isnt there, the colours in general are more washed out and due to the brightness this monitor can not give a thrilling HDR experience like my other Samsung monitor can do.In conclusion, I would recommend my Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU over this one. It has 1440p 144hz 1ms and HDR, but when you compare the price of both £160 for this one. and £230-£250 for the LC27G55TQBUXXU it does make this monitor good value. Its a entry level, higher refresh rate which if your after a purely gaming monitor which display is serviceable but has high refresh rate and resolution, for the price point you probably cant do much better. If you are buying to watch media, movies tv etc on, I would strongly avoid and pay the extra for the Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU, the panel is just so so so much better than the LS27CG552EUXXU but you pay the price. So the choise is yours. Also note that the LS27CG552EUXXU does not support 165hz through HDMI no matter the cable.||| Comparison:Samsung Odyssey G5 LS27CG552EUXXU 27":+ Cheaper+ Higher Refresh Rate- Colours are worse, more washed and less vibrant- Not bright enough to sufficiently make HDR material look as it should.~ Purely a gaming focused monitor, not ideal for regular media consumption, but will do the job.Samsung Odyssey G5 LC27G55TQBUXXU 27":+ Display is miles superior glance, even better once you compare+ Vibrant colours that POP and look amazing with HDR and bright enough to display true HDR contentas it was intended- Lower Refresh Rate- Considerably More Expensive (worth it in my opinion)~ A perfect all rounder, brilliant gaming monitor and the display is amazing. My go to choice. Thanks for reading!

Brilliant monitor
As of the latest firmware update, vrr (freesync) now works on PlayStation 5 perfectly. I also use on a PC with an nvidia 3080ti gpu and I can confirm gsync is working perfectly too. The 240hz presentation is amazing. Smooth, no blur or flicker I can see on the faster preset and what feels like instantaneous response to inputs. The HDR looks great as the va panel has deep blacks and the picture is bright and vivid, with great colour, making highlights look great too. Leave hdr on for gaming, but the separate game hdr setting off, as this causes the picture to be overly bright and looks odd. Local dimming isn't great and only really adds brightness but the panel is so good the dark scenes still look fantastic and contrasty. The speakers in the monitor, although lacking bass, sound fantastic and clarity is superb. All things considered, if you're looking for a great 1440p monitor but don't want the issues with oled cost and burn in, this is among, if not the best 1440p monitor available. The curve is great too, once you're sitting in front and playing or watching you don't realise it's there but it definitely adds to the immersion, wrapping around you so your eyes don't have to travel so far to see the edges of the screen. Oh, and the rgb is awesome too if you like that kinda thing 👍
