I bought this to use outside, it was loud enough and surprisingly original sound and powerful bass respond , it's really just what I needed.The 2500mAh Battery is really powerfull, I can go for an all beach/park day and play music the entire time without worrying about saving the battery.It was perfect in size for what we need and not to heavy to carry. I would recommend for camping, travelling or having bbq party in a garden, because of features like solar charge, waterproof etc. By the way, the the built-in flashlight with SOS functions is really helpfull.It can be charged via the solar panel and also the old conventional way by a usb lead and a cable is supplied for this purpose, overall this is one of the better speakers I have come across and I would have no issues in recommending it.

Great Speaker not charged it by cable once. Charges quick in sun when not in use. And last ages while sun is out.

This is the second one of these type of Bluetooth speakers I have bought, there seem to be a lot of badged versions of the same product (there may be slight differences). My first one lasted about 4 or 5 years after being dropped left out in the rain etc, but in the end the battery died, I decided to dismantle it, that's when I found out how well it is made, it is not easy to dismantle and I would not recommend it if you don't have the right tools or are not used to doing this kind of thing, anyway, I manged to source a battery, fit it and it is working again.So back to the one I recently purchased, it comes well packaged in a sturdy box, an aux lead, USB lead and clips/handles. It came out of the box as 50% charged, it seemed to take a long time to charge up to 100% (solar) but once charged seemed to hold the charge for longer than my previous one, the battery is 2500mah compared to the 2400mah battery in my older one and of course a lot newer. A couple of things to note, the speakers face the same way (although the sound does bounce out of the other side) and as previously mentioned by another reviewer the vocal ‘BLUETOOTH MODE’ announcement every time it switches on is somewhat annoying and IMHO not necessary as the audible noise and flashing blue LED lets you know what mode it is in and whether it is Bluetooth connected hence only 4 stars. The only choice of colour when I made the purchase was black and I find it more difficult to see the buttons than I did on my previous blue one. It supports a TF card and has a built in light but I am only using for playing audio over Bluetooth. Overall though this is a good product and good value for money especially if it lasts as long as my previous one. Remove the vocal ‘BLUETOOTH MODE’ announcement (I wonder if there is a hack) and provide in different colors then this would be a 5 star review.NB: I notice that this is now in stock in a blue colour, I would recommend this colour.

Easy to set up snd decent enough sound if volume at a normal level. Solar panel has done all the charging so far too.

Sound is what ud expect from a Bluetooth speaker from this size.The interface is awful. Some scattered buttons but no pairing button and I've spent most of the day hearing that unpleasant voice shouting Bluetooth mode and no music as it doesn't want to connect to anything.

Easy to connect. Good battery life once charged. And a surprisingly good sound quality.

I was impressed with the quality of the sound on this robust speaker - it was used connected to an MP3 player through a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack lead (there is one supplied in the box) rather than through bluetooth. BUT, Although the idea of solar powering is good and so far in the week we had it, we didn't have to charge it externally with it being kept in daylight most of the time - in the long-term lithium ion batteries and exposure to heat don't go well together and this can actually shorten the battery's life span. It was also difficult to know how much power actually remained in the device - a power gauge would have been great idea. There was also another major issue with this speaker that I have to mention as has been pointed out by other reviewers - When it's turned on it makes an alarmingly loud beeping that's loud enough to wake the dead followed by a Chinese voice saying "BLUETOOTH MODE" or "AUX MODE" if you plug the lead in the headphone slot after. I don't think there's anyway to turn it off or even turn it down. And lastly, the speaker I had wouldn't charge via the micro-USB plug - so back to Amazon it went!
