The blanket is actually quite small and tight to get your legs in comfortably, it would be alright for a child but if you are any older than 14 I’d give this a miss.

This Is a great novelty gift, I bought the adult size one for my daughter as the child's one looked a little small, I ordered her the light grey, and she loves it, she uses it to lie on top or her bed and watching tv in her room and when shes not in her room It gets brought down to the living room were she loves to snuggle in it on the sofa.The quality of the mermaid tail is excellent, It's nice and thick and seems a good quality product with no frayed wool showing. This blanket is a really good length for both an adult blanket and a teenager blanket, I really like the way that the bottom is enclosed at the foot area but you can still push your feet all the way into the tail end,I would say that when you first get it I would put it through the wash first, I did as it had that slight damp smell to it, I placed mine on a wool wash and left it to dry on the radiators over night.My overall opinion on this is great, and It's nice and big leaving plenty of room to get snugly in <3
