Good product
Did the job....so far, so good. Damp seems to be gone and I've waited a year to review so as to be sure it works.

Reasonably cheap
Reasonably cheap product, however it is rather Thin Consistency, should be more like Toothpaste. My advise is Check out best prices for the DPC CREAM STICKS, less mess and just cut them off if nesc, pre cut them short so they leave a gap at the top of the hole to plug it with mortar etc. Or you could ream out a space to plug the Hole by using 12MM Drill bit and twisting it in with your fingers. You can use plastic plugs with the cream but the sticks won't squash down as easy ? The modern trend is to re mortar not plastic plugs on the outside wall. However under internal plaster its a quicker turn around to plastic plug the drill holes and Stablize Sealer Coat over the Bare Brickwork ready for Re Plastering. REMEMBER, your NOT SUPPOSED to DRILL completely through into the WALL CAVITY ? you only drill 3/4 into the joint Mortar, not the Bricks. However as a DIY its inevitable you will OOPSY DAISY. REMEMBER when the cream dissolves and soaks into the mortar, the drill hole will reopen up so Moisture from the Cavity can creep up behind the new Plaster work and course Damp Patches ? That's why I recommend plastic plugs on internal walls, tap them in Half way so the seal off the Drill Holes and Provide a Fixing Anchor for your new COURSE UNDERCOAT PLASTER. I think most DIY come backs and the return of Damp Patches are coursed by drill holes going into the Cavity not being Capped off and just Plasterd over ?

Works for falling damp as well
I used this stuff to cure water coming in from the water table (despite me and a builder failing to find how it was getting in to the table even though the chimney stack is less than 12 years old and both roofs in good repair ) I treated the table as rising damp instead of " falling " damp and it stopped leaking almost immediately.

Easy diy
Bought this as currently renovating an old terraced house with damp - I suspect the damp is penetrative from bad brickwork rather than rising damp as there are signs of a previous DPC however thought it best to cover all bases. This was really easy to use - as you drill into the mortar it was a really quick job - can already see the cream penetrating the mortar around it. Only time will tell if this has resolved part of the problem. I bought 10 tubes initially but have ordered another 10 to finish the rest of the house. Much cheaper than hiring a professional and easy for a diy'er to do.
