The Hilldow 8.4V RC Battery SC NiMH 5000mAh Batteries have been a fantastic addition to my RC cars. I used to race RC cars back in the day and even made it to the ROAR nationals but that was a long time ago. I recently got back into it as I knew I would need some hobbies once my kids go off to college in the fall. That is when I realized that technology has come a long way in the last couple of decades!I used to race 4WD Offroad track (with my Yokomo Dogfighter SE) and all we had back then were Ni-Cad batteries. We used every trick in the bag to get every ounce of juice out of the battery packs and there quite a few races were my car died just after crossing the finish line. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that NiMH batteries have improved their capabilities.I am using these in my Traxxas Stampede and plan on using them in my D5 Pro drift car when I complete it. In the Traxxas they are doing great! Same, if not better run times and power than the stock NiMH batteries. I now have several sets of Hilldow batteries, NiMH and LiPo, and so far, they have all done great. I can recommend the Hilldow 8.4V RC Battery SC NiMH 5000mAh Batteries!

I build a custom "Power Wheels" car for my daughter and was looking for some batteries to power it for her. I happen to see these show up on the Vine program so I figured I'd give them a try. I don't use these to drive her car but I do have them wired up for the other features I added to it (mostly lights and sounds). So far after about 2 months of use, they are holding up great (and this isn't your typical use for these cells). She gets about 2-2.5hrs of use (for her custom setup) before I need to charge them for her. I like that they are built to be rugged and the terminals are great and durable as well.

Bought these to run in my old and new Slashes, my grandkids are old enough now to enjoy RC's with me!

When I got these battery packs, I wasn’t sure they were going to fit since the male connector on these are rectangular but plug into a hexagonal female terminal on the car. However, these after-market battery packs not only fit well, but also hold as tightly as the original battery. They definitely handle stress well too. I’m using mine for an off-road R/C car that I got from Monster Energy as a promotion, and I’ve had no issues with the batteries holding up. I will say, the batteries don’t last quite as long as the original but pretty darn close. I think that’s just because the original that mine came with is a bit higher on the milliamp hours. Still, with two of these packs, keeping your car going for a long time will not be a problem. In my opinion, these are pretty great.

So not all batteries are equal... and I didn't expect much of these at first. But after putting them in my RC crawler, I was surprised by the good fumit and than 2 hours later the one battery was still going strong... and I was not running slow or with many breaks... the 2 batteries got me through an entire Saturday of zipping around the track and park.

Won't hold a charge. Won't work at all battery's are junk do not orders the batters cheap crap.
