Great torch

This torch produces a larger flame than the cheap ones that come in propane torch kits. It is well worth the extra money to get one like this. It is well built and easy to use.

Great hot flame, and easy to aim and ignite.

Self igniter stops working within a month of use. I’ve had this torch for three months but it stayed in the shop until last week. My third time using it in the field as a plumber the igniter stopped working. The torch works fine once lit but the electric start doesn’t work. I’ve tried to fix it, replace battery, tighten etc but it’s no good. I even bought a protection plan but of course Amazon uses a vendor who won’t honor the plan.

Great product. It works like it’s supposed to. It’s a good quality product that’s actually worth the money I paid for it.

2 stars because I think it shouldn't have passed inspection. First, fair disclosure: To return any item is a problem for me, so I didn't contact the seller so I have no valid opinion of their support. That said, my torch head leaked immediately upon testing out of the box.The smaller tube was noticeably cocked at an angle & leaked at it's base. No damage to the box. It seems like an assembly error, & it should've been easily spotted by eye before packing. So ordered an identical-looking unit from a different source & I'm really pleased with this design. Took me ~45 seconds to free up an old rusted-in O2 Sensor that I'd spent hours trying to loosen using a hobby-grade torch head and literally every style of O2 Sensor wrench I found on the market (with one exception that wouldn't have suited my space confines).
