I am amazed at the quality of these brushes for such a reasonable price. I have always liked Princeton brushes for watercolor, and I normally buy more expensive models. I bought these for a student but am buying them for myself too. They hold their shape extremely well and absorb a generous amount of water. Overall great brushes.

I find that I rely on these brushes for my watercolor practice even though these aren't the highest quality, most absorbent, sharpest or longest lasting brushes. But I enjoy having them in my arsenal, they are a great "work horse" brush. That being said they are just perfect for some things and my go to for stuff like mixing colors, lettering and control.These brushes don't wear out unreasonably quickly. I'd say for a synthetic, mid to low grade brush, they last quite a long time for watercolor use... if you dont trash your brushes.Overall: They are relatively stiff but still flexible, sturdy and dependable. Great price point for the set (if I find these in store, even big craft stores, these run $3.75-5.75 per brush). I'd buy these any day over some mystery brand, at least a Princeton brush is made by a reputable company that makes high and low end brushes.

These were recommended by a water color artist I learn from. Good quality. Would totally buy again. I did notice my 6 frayed a bit after a handful of uses, but I just plucked the couple of hairs out and it seems fine now. Definitely a good set for someone just learning water color and wants quality brushes

I love Prinston brushes. I do own many of them in a range of levels. These I found very comparable to a set I purchased from an popular artist for twice the price. I very much recommend.

I have a ton of these brushes for watercolor and acrylic painting. They have impressed me with their quality for the price. None of them have shed bristles, despite heavy use. It is also nice to know that there was no animal cruelty in their production, unlike sable brushes.

I'm so surprised at how excellent these brushes are!They're just as good as the Heritage brushes at a fraction of the price.I have a number of Heritage and Velvetouch brushes and these blue handled ones offer the same performance.They work perfectly with watercolor, they hold just enough water and have a nice snap and sharp points on the round brushes. They are also a good brush for gouache and I'm guessing acrylic (have not tried that yet).What a find!

Ive used these brushes for acrylic & watercolor painting. They are a very good value for a set. These Princeton brushes have never lost bristles.
