Must-have for bored indoor cats
My cat hasn't been getting his usual leash walks since he doesn't tolerate the summer heat very well. He's sleeping all day and wants to play all night... Not good for either of us, and he turns into a bitey marshmallow-cactus hybrid when he's under-stimulated.These fur mice have been the perfect solo and interactive play toy for him. He loves the rabbit fur, the catnip aroma, and the barely audible rattle inside. The fur is securely attached enough that he can't pull it off and eat it easily. He adores rabbit fur/skin treats for dogs, but I'm concerned about him eating glue and plastic from fur toys, and these mice don't seem to be a problem. Likewise, the felt nose and ears don't come off easily, no swallowable plastic parts. These fur mice are also just large and heavy enough to pitch for distance when the cat wants to play fetch - he'll run back up the stairs dangling the mouse by its (also well-attached) tail. He's able to "hide" the mouse and stalk it, plays with it inside puzzle boxes, and is just generally ecstatic when I pull out a new one. They do seem to lose the appealing catnip scent after a couple of weeks, but I just stuff the mouse inside a bag of catnip for a few days and it's good for a while. I haven't had to throw out any totally destroyed ones yet after months of use, which is astonishing given that they're being regularly savaged by a 15 lb. mini-lion. Great value for the price.

Cat loves it
This was a Christmas gift for my cat. She loves them and they are much bigger and better constructed than the tiny ines. The rabbit fur aids in the attraction as well. Great buy.

Cats love them!
My cats love real furr toys over any other and each has their own favorite color but I find them all over the house now.

Don't last for rough kitty
Our cat loves them, but he's a highly aggressive young cat and rips them to shreds in no time-- like a week or two. Better the toy that the furniture or our hands, but we wish they'd last a month or more. BTW, Kitty is really sweet when he's not shredding his toys!

Had high hopes but disappointed
My cat is large frame so thought these larger toys would be great for him. Size is great, but the rattles aren’t very loud so he isn’t stimulated by that and the catnip must be poor quality. My guy played a couple of minutes with it because it was new, but quickly lost interest and doesn’t engage with them at all. They are fluffy and soft and appear to be made well though.
