I needed a digital scale to measure dyes and other minute ingredient amounts for wax for making candles. It works well for this and with the tare facility the ingredients can be easily measured into a small container and poured straight into the melting pot. Good value for money.

Does exactly what it says on the box, instructions clear and easy to follow, and acuracty very good. A tip:- check web/royal mint for weights of UK coins and use these as a quick chek of the accuracy instead of buying a 500 grm weight.

For weeks I have been using a weight chart, for silver content coins, which I found on the internet ,when buying coins.I tried the AW600 to weigh a British halfcrown that I had bought. The stated weight of the halfcrown, on the chart was 13.0 grams. The weight according to the AW600 was 14.1grams. I thought the AW600 was wrong so I weighed an Australian dollar which according to a different internet chart was stated to weigh 9.0 grams. The AW600 reading was 9.0grams.I have 2 things to say . The AW600 is accurate , well worth the buying price, and could pay for itself very soon by saving me from loosing money if or when when I decide sell any of my coins in the future.

I bought both the Myco MZ-600 and the AWS-600 and can state that they are identical products. The only difference was the colour of the case (silver for the Myco and black for the AWS), the brand name and the paperwork it comes with. The scale itself is identical. Oddly, the AWS has a 10 year warranty and the Myco has a 3 year warranty.I tested these side by side and found no difference. A 500g known weight is required to calibrate. I tested the two of them with weights from 1g to 100g. The 1g weight registered perfectly on both in the centre of the weighing platform, but had some variation when the weight was moved to the outer edges - a +/- variation of 0.1g was observed on both scales.In normal use, I found a couple of quirks to be aware of - when weighing small quantities (in my case essential oils in amounts between 1 and 10g) it can take a few seconds for the scale to settle down - often it will not register a few drops added to the amount being weighed for 2-3 seconds. So it pays to pause, especially when you are close to your target weight. The second thing that it did was unexpectedly turn itself off when I was in process of slowly weighing several oils totalling 10g - taring as I went, so I lost the combined weight when it switched off. Not sure why it did that, but I'd recommend writing down interim weights before taring if you are using it in that fashion.Overall a good balance for the price; beats paying 10x what this costs for a lab-quality one if you don't need it.

We bought these to check weigh gold coins to ensure the gold content was correct.They work, are easy to use and look good. Another bonus we can carry them in coat / jacket pocket for when we go to coin fairs. Brilliant.

I use these to measure coffee beans and tea. It works great and stays on quite a long time so I can use it for pour over coffee as well.
