Vermiculite
I have kept tarantulas and snakes for around 20 years I have always used vermiculite for my spiders and spiderlings by far this is the best substrate to use it looks good if your pet is on display and is very easy to keep clean. As the product says it can be used to incubate reptile eggs it is very good at holding moisture as humidity is very important when dealing with eggs I must stress this point as good as vermiculite is NEVER use it as a substrate for snakes vermiculite always contains a fine dust even the much courser stuff will have this dust and can cause breathing problems for your snake snakes are better off with wood chips like aspen

Good product, bad packaging
Product seems fine and a good price. The main problem was that it wasn't well packaged though, as was just in a single skin grey parcel bag, which if you're not very careful when opening, splits easily and spills the stuff everywhere. Does not come as photo'd, in a proper product bag.
