Works amazingly and is very sturdy. Does have the ability to keep the lead longer and snap back when you need it to. Always got cheap ones and they would snap so for work this is perfect for larger sets of keys and attaches to the belt loop or belt itself.

This thing is great. I was looking for an extendable lanyard for carrying a slightly older (larger and heavier) range finder for 3d archery. This is well built, has good reach. A strong dynerma cord, and the locking feature is perfect for this application. I set it up on the carabineer from my belt loop and went direct to the range finder with the small hook. The heavier build gives me the confidence that it won't break and the nice cord and strong tension means I don't need to worry about it accidentally paying out my finger while I walk in the woods... Finally, the lockout feature allows me to pull out far enough to I can use the finder without fighting the retract feature. Not sure how it would work in other duties, but as a retractable secure gear holder this is perfect. Would strongly recommend.

Seems to be working good so far. Extends long enough for me. Takes some getting use to for the cable retraction. Cable seems sturdy. Mechanism comes unhooked when getting in and out of cars. I have the clamp around my belt loop on the side and put my card in my pocket. I have to rehook it to the clamp. It's been a year, just out of warranty and it froze up. Cord was still good. Too bad the mechanism gave out. Still a nice reel.

Clipped this to my backpack strap with a badge holder and didn't have to fumble looking for ID going thru the airport. Added a credit card and some cash, even my Plus phone a couple times and spent the rest of my vacay hands free. Stayed in place on every piece I put it whether I used the carabiner or clip. Zip line out, do what is needed, tiny tug and line goes back ...items safe & secure.

Like the product but both that I bought lasted not very long. One about 2-3 months and the other just a little less. One the clip came off and the other the pull string stoped working. Maybe a defective pair idk. Like how it worked but didn’t last. I work in management and I just used them this to unlock my doors and use my idea to get computer setting and it didn’t last.

I am really enjoying my retractable lanyard. I had initially some trouble with a catching and jamming, but I believe there was a problem with this one particular unit itself and not the product. The company was extremely considerate and responsive and replaced my defective unit immediately. I would definitely recommend this company and this product.

This fits my use case perfectly! I was looking for a strong, heavy duty keychain where I could hang my airpods, my keys, and my three badges. These are up to the task, and even when they're all there swinging about, the spring is strong enough to stay wound. Additionally, I love how this keychain has stops, which is almost a necessity since the spring in here is so powerful. This allows me to be able to put everything in my pocket if I want to. It also has clips for both hanging off my waistband, or clipping into a belt loop. The only slight improvement that I could suggest would be if the badge clip could be removable. 5/5 Great value, and worth the price.

Worked great for 6 months then when pulling the cord out it went stiff, no longer retracts. Feel like should last alot longer for the price. Only holding key cards so not even heavy.

El producto es de buenos materiales, resistentes y de buena dureza. El carrete de hilo es pesado y voluminoso. A mi me gusta ya que hace mas difícil extraviarlo, aunque no es cómodo de llevar todo el rato en el pantalón. Comprado en finales de febrero del 2024 hasta abril del 2025 ha concluido la vida del producto. El lobster clip se ha roto al cambiarlo por primera vez de un "cordón para llavero" ya que compré uno nuevo. al colocarlo en el nuevo el mecanismo de enganche simplemente trono y no pude encontrar el resorte. A la semana de rotura del losbter clip el carrete retráctil al estirarlo unos 20cm prox. para hacer el check en una terminal para acceder a una puerta, no pude hacer que se contrajera, lo que me llevo a estirarlo mas y mas hasta que llego a su máximo e hizo un "click" y ya no hubo forma de hacerlo contraerse. El lobster clip se me abra dañado por algún golpe que le habré dado en alguna esquina o por torsión de traerlo constantemente en el pantalón. Así que su aguante a mi parecer si es considerable y salvo por no encontrar el resorte, pude haber aumentado aun mas su tiempo de vida por al menos otro año. El carrete de hilo aguanto unos 200 usos aprox. (en tirar y contraer a distancia inferiores a 30cm máx.) es decepcionante, ya que su vida útil es similar a la de otros carretes básicos y con un costo 4 veces inferior. Por lo cual yo recomendaría otras opciones que vengan con al menos 2 carretes por un coste similar al de este. Para uso rudo puntual confió en el producto ya que sus materiales en accesorios clave son metálicos no plásticos y sus materiales plásticos son rígidos y reforzados que considero son capaces de soportar golpes y tirones fuertes. Si lo recomiendo. Paro uso cotidiano donde no hay riesgos pero si uso moderado o constante del carrete o los mecanismos de clip. No lo recomiendo, su tiempo de vida es similar a productos de bajo coste, ya que cambio uno por año porque el carrete se desgasta y deja retraer completamente. y con este no fue diferente. Por su coste de $300mx aprox. vs los $50mx aprox. del coste de uno básico. Para uso cotidiano moderado, recomiendo buscar otras opciones, preferentemente con varios carretes de hilo.
