We Are X
I've been a fan for a while so I know a lot more than what's presented in the film, it really is for an audience who have no clue who X Japan are but it's still a nice addition for fans. I found the editing a little disorientating at times but again, thats probably because I already know the time line. There is some funeral footage of devastated fans if you are little sensitive to that, as I am. It's mainly focusing on Yoshiki more so than the band it's self which I was a little disappointed in. I would have liked to see more of the band members but I guess that's very typical of the band anyway. I feel like Hide's influence should have been included a lot more, as Yoshiki still tears up at the mere thought of him. I often feel like Hide was the true heartbeat to the band but again, that could be fan bias. All in all, it's still a good portrait of the band all though a little tamer than I know. Because of suicide being a major theme, it does leave you feeling a little stronger at the end although as Yoshiki says, the pain is always there but we fight through it regardless.

Xtraordinary
Fascinating roller coaster story of a band that should definitely be known throughout the globe but are not. Heart breaking, exhilarating, thought provoking and tear jerking this is one movie that's a must if you're into music. Forever battling with his emotions and pain, Yoshiki has a terminator style determination to entertain and create some of the most beautiful, flamboyant and powerful music you could ever wish to hear!

for all X fans
a tad expensive for something that doesn't include a second disc of content, but I absolutely love the film. Saw it live at the beginning of the Wembley concert and there are a few scenes extra on the blu ray release. Fantastic cinematography and editing.

A superb band
I enjoyed this. I’m a big X Japan fan. I love Yoshiki’s work. I’m also a big Hide fan and it is very sad and moving to see him here and listen to his band family refer to him with such love and admiration.

perfect quality blu-ray
perfect quality blu-ray, a very entertaining film for a fan such as me who has spent most of his life getting info about the band as it was distilled on the internet. It was a real pleasure to see the band from the inside, although more interviews with other members and taking the focus away from Yoshiki to see how the band in general feels about these events would have been much more effective...

Great DVD!
Insightful DVD about a band that I had not heard of, too late for me but great DVD nonetheless!

We are X indeed!
Although it is mainly centered on Yoshiki, it is an excellent documentary about the most important and influential Japanese rock band. As exciting as a concert.Amazon international shipment (UK to Italy in my case) worked perfectly.

Very good !
I ordered it on May 14. I arrived early for one week from a plan.Amazon.co.uk, thank you very much.Because it was a fan, I thought this steel book that I wanted it by all means for 24 years. I appreciated 11 times in a movie theater, but what I can appreciate in Blu-ray in a house is nice! Because it has not been yet released in Japan.
