11156C Whilstling Kettle 2.5Ltr. Metalic Black, Stainless Steel, 8 Cups

I wanted a kettle to use on my new induction heater. There is a bewildering variety of offerings on Amazon and in the end I chose this one because it was pretty cheap so I wasn't losing much if it turned out that I'd be better sticking with the electric kettle.Having used it quite a bit now I am very impressed with how good it is. 2.5 Litres is more than adequate volume for me. I don't anticipate wanting to boil that much at once. The largest amount I need to boil is enough for a hot water bottle and that boiled quickly.The whistle is loud enough. The folding handle is no trouble at all although I had expected it to be a faff somehow. The handle seems secure in use and the holding rivets seem robust enough to last. The lid comes off relatively easily for filling although I expect to be mostly using the spout with the whistle tilted up. The Whistle-up design in itself is an improvement over the last whistling kettle I saw decades ago which had a removable whistle that obviously got hot so fingers had to be watched.Considering the misgivings I had when I ordered it and the satisfaction I feel with the product I reckon the price was easy worth it. Why pay more?

Previously I've had Le Creuset - which rusted inside and Judge - which didn't whistle. Both of these weren't cheap and I had spent some time researching a good replacement that wasn't going to be a waste of money.I came back time and time again to this kettle - it had the best reviews and ticked every box for me ... yet I wasn't sure. Surely it was a camping kettle and not good enough for daily kitchen use. How could something this cheap be any good.In the end I decided to give it a go. if it didn't work out, at least I wouldn't waste too much money... so glad I did. it's the best kettle I've ever had!! Lightweight - so easy to carry and pour, lid comes off easily and handle fold down one way for easy filling from a filter jug, quick heating and a whistle that intrigues rather than terrifies the dog - yet is loud enough to hear from another room. Perfect perfect perfect.

Buying this was my mistake. I should have gone for something more substantial

Small kitchen so this on the hob instead of a bulky kettle and cable is ideal. Right size for a few of us, whistles as described, and neatens kitchen to be on the hob out the way all the time.

A nice kettle, lightweight and boils quicker than some whistling kettles, and a very good price. The problem is the lid is so stiff to remove that I can see this breaking very quickly

If you want a £100 le creuset this isn’t it. But it does the same job for 10% the price. Cheap AND cheerful.

Kettle works well, i use this Kettle on a Cruiser Boat, looks good, good water capacity, good value Kettle.

Elle fait le job (chauffer de l'eau) Je ne m'en sert que sur le poêle à bois. Nickel !

Nach 5 Wochen unten am Rand undicht hätte mehr Sterne gegeben aber dafür das es jetzt schon undicht ist naja

Je l'avais commandé en couleur inox, je l'ai reçu noire comme sur la photo, mais ce n'est pas super grave.Pratique, légère (très important pour moi) joli petit design, petit bémol, le couvercle est un petit peu difficile à retirer, ceci dit il ne faut pas non plus la force d'Hercule ^^Je suis contente de mon achat, j'en avais marre des bouilloires électriques.

Ottimo bollitore lo uso sullaia stufa a legna. Ti avvisa quando l'acqua bolle. Il manico è robusto come anche il bollitore.Buon prezzo lo consiglio

Buena bonita y barata las tres B... Lo mejor el silbato cuando está el agua hervida... Jeje como producto lo recomiendo al 100%
