I seem to remember I couldn't find any elderberry in capsule form that were organic. If you want organic you'd either need to look for the syrup or other extract forms, or get the Gaia Herb liquid capsules ($19-25). Extracts pack a better punch anyhow. These capsules are good for daily use- in place of echinacea. (Side note- echinacea should not be taken daily because it over stimulates your immune and can cause immune issues. Elderberry and echniacea both have a compound in them that inhibits the enzyme that viri secrete to break down the cell wall so they can get inside the cell and make it a virus making factory. Echinacea also stimulates your immune system as well, even if no virus is there, it will essentially flag the immune to engage as if there was. That way it will be pumped up and ready for when a cold hits, which is why it's okay to take it for several days here and there if you're around sick people or traveling. But taking it longer it can create, simply put kind of a \"boy who called wolf\" with your immune, or it could overstimulate to the point of your immune kicking into autoimmune and attacking your body. Neither are good, obviously. Just a FYI who to people who take Echinacea all the time.) But if you're battling a cold extract is the way to go.
