Lansky Sharpeners Universal Mount

A very good upgrade to the Lansky sharpening system. Makes the process much easier.

Works well, however I did need to file the end of the screw threaded portion of the post, because when the post was firmly attached the threaded portion protruded past the base and therefore rocked on the centre. Simple enough when you have the necessary tools, but should not be required in the first place

Another great product from lansky. Essential to get the best results from the lansky system. Looks identical to the pedestal mount except you can dismantle it to fit in the lansky case. I use it with my lansky deluxe system and as a combination I really can achieve a scarily sharp edge that you can shave with. As mentioned by another purchaser the screw that fits the two pieces together is marginally too long instead of filing or cutting I just put a washer between the two halves.

A must for the lansky sharpening system. Works like a charm. Blob of bluetac in the rod guide hole will ensure you run the edge equally each time. A fantastic purchase

Good solid Lansky Aluminium mount for Lansky knife system. Not cheap, but very nice quality. You get what you pay for.

Ok if you have purcahsed a lansky sharpening kit this is a must have add on , i really think it should come in the kit because holding the kinfe free hand is not so easy with this you just pout it down on any surface and can either clamp or screw or just hold it tight down and it makes the job so much safer .

Chinesium metal, loose fits so not stable

Quindi spesso sono costretto ad affilarli.Avevo già l' affilatore Lansky, ma doveva tenerlo in mano , ho comprato questo supporto , avvitato su una tavoletta in legno 30x30, e il gioco è fatto. Der Montageständer für das Lansky-Schärfset funktioniert. Auch ohne festen Standort erleichtert er das Festhalten des Messers mit der freien Hand. Auseinandergeschraubt paßt er zudem in den Aufbewahrungskasten des Sets. Ich finde den Ständer praktisch und komfortabel. Unerläßlich ist er allerdings nicht; die Schleifergebnisse sind unverändert (gut). Ob man das Geld anlegt, muß sich daher jeder sorgfältig selbst überlegen... als erster Schritt sind m.E. ein feiner Keramikstein und das Abziehleder wichtigere Ergänzungen zum Basisset. mfG K.H
