BLACK+DECKER 18V 4.0Ah Lithium Ion Battery

I recently purchased the BLACK+DECKER BL4018-XJ 4.0 Ah Lithium Ion Battery for my power tools and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. This battery has a high capacity of 4.0 Ah, which means it can last for a long time and power my tools for extended periods of time without needing to be recharged. This is quite expensive, but it lasts so much longer. And it does not even heat up like those small packs when in continuous use. It has more amps so gives more umph (strength) to powertools! :) keep in mind it's bigger - heavier, and will charge for many hours to fully charge up

If you own any Black and Decker 18v products then this battery really is a must buy. I have a number of items, Drill, Strimmer, Hedge Trimmer, Blower and others in the range which I have purchased with/without batteries as I have gone along. Mostly I have 1.5amp hour batteries and whilst they work fine for small jobs I find that I am charging lots. The 4amp hour is a game changer and lasts so much better whatever job I’m doing. It lasts long enough on one charge to cut all my rear hedges which I would guess is around 40 mins of constant use. It also feels more powerful in my blower which I’m not sure is the case or not but the fact that it lasts that much longer between charging just makes the battery use that much more practical as well. I used to have McCulloch petrol stuff that I used in my garden which only I could use as it was hard for my wife to maintain and use. This stuff has replaced this now and she is more than happy to use B&D battery tools round the garden and then charge the batteries when needed. I am not saying that this battery stuff is as powerful or as good as the petrol alternative, I am just saying that it’s far more practical and user friendly for my house. Really impressed.

You need to use your equipment to charge it. This is 4ah battery which is 4,000mah It's quite large for use with a drill it lasts me ages, it's much better than the stock battery of my drill which is 1.5ah so over twice the battery size, and also twice the physical size, so this has to be a legit battery, it does last me longer than the 2ah. It doesn't sadly come with any usb-a slots to be able to say charge my phone on the go when I'm not drilling. It also doesn't come with anything but a small manual. This is 18v battery charger, and fits various Black n decker equipment, this I got for my drill which is the Black+Decker 18V Lithium-Ion Drill Driver with A 1.5Ah Battery model- BCD001C1-GB It's not the best drill, it's only good for basic odd jobs around the house, as cheap drills are only useful for, but this battery fits that drill perfectly, just have to make sure you hear and feel that huge click into place and it's all good from there. Took a star off for not having a usb-a slot to charge my phone or even a built on light which would come in handy without the drill around.

This battery is long lasting, durable, with good performance and value for money.

My Black & Decker battery powered strimmer is great but it always ran out about half way through our large garden. I was going to buy a second battery before spotting this, I figured it would be like 2 batteries in one and would get the job done without a recharge, the price seemed a little high but I thought I'd give it a go. To my amazement this makes the strimmer much more powerful, it whizzed through the borders and weeds far better than it did on the original battery. Battery life was at least double of not more, a winner on both counts.

I have a chainsaw and hedge trimmer which use the Black & Decker 18V 2.0Ah lithium batteries. They work great, but never last long enough, so I bought this one to see if it'd work. It does. It's a straight swap for the 2.0Ah batteries, but lasts twice as long (obviously). The tools are a bit heavier with the bigger battery, but it's not really that noticeable

Doesn't keep charge for very long

Su carga es ideal y vale para todos los cargadores black & Deker. Vale la pena para máquinas de un uso medio en intensidad, si con una batería no te llega, con estas tienes un refuerzo potente. Batterie originale Black et Decker qui fonctionne parfaitement bien sûr, tout type d’appareil de la marque, quel qu’ il soit ! Pour ma part, je l’utilise principalement pour mon coupe bordure Black et Decker ! En terme de taille et de poids, la batterie est plus grosse que les petites standard je trouve que il n’y a pas d’impact lors de son utilisation quant à son poids il reste tout de même très acceptable. Son autonomie est longue (Tout dépend de ce que vous en faites). J’ai pu constater également qu’il n’y a presque aucune décharge inutile lorsqu’on ne l’utilise pas. À voir dans le temps sa durée de vie… 👍🏻 Je recommande sans problème
