Just as the title says, it is a large mask. It covers more of your face and neck than an average mask. There are two plastic pieces on the ear loops to allow the mask to fit on a smaller head all the way up to a very large head.The material is mesh on one side and cotton on the other. It is very comfortable and breathable.If you are looking for a mask that perfectly contours to your face and blocks out Covid then this mask is probably not for you. It lacks a wire to adjust for the fit of the bridge of your nose. If you are someone that has difficulty breathing through a regular mask then this is the mask for you. This is the most unobtrusive mask I’ve worn.

Very comfortable and fit so well. It's truly a medium - I found so many S/M too small and all the large were just too big. Feels good against your skin, washes well (I only line dry, so I can't speak for what a dryer will do) and the space for breathing within the mask was just what I needed. The only drawback is that on really hot, humid days, they are definitely warmer than my other 3 ply all 100% cotton masks. But when the weather gets colder, these are going to be my go-to masks. I feel that in terms of limiting disease spread, these fit so much better, than the flat, 3-ply with a nose wire ones. As an added bonus, my autistic teenage son has found that these fit well and they don't upset him sensory-wise (and that's saying a lot...).

Comfortable

Update: After laundering the masks several more times, the chemical smell finally disappeared. These masks are very comfortable to wear for several hours. My daughter prefers these over her cute masks.This mask fits myself and my 12 year old great. The material is not as lightweight as other masks but they are still very comfortable. BUT these masks have a very strong chemical odor that does not seem to go away. I have washed them in the washing machine five times and even soaked them overnight in water with a scent booster but the smell is still present. My daughter will not wear these masks because the odor is still strong.

With the money

I purchased two sets and these masks are well worth the money! We have used these daily and they are very comfortable. The fit both my husband (large face) and myself (small face) because they are easily adjustable. We have used them for five months, washing them after each use, and they are holding up beautifully. I put them in my washer and dryer in a lingerie bag with no problems. Highly recommend!
