My wife's just started chemo and is weak and shaky as a result. I wanted something to ease the problems with drinking so I got her the non-tip cups (see picture) etc. However, she found that standard sized (plastic) straws were both difficult to hold and were hard for her to suck through as they were too slim.These have been perfect. They fit into a standard 'hospital' cup as in the picture (they're a tight fit but do not reduce the flow) and my wife finds them comfortable to hold and very easy on her (sore) lips.The added bonus is that, when the grandkids came around, they loved the colour and the touch of them too and started on at their Mum to buy some for home.I am really impressed with the straws (you can tell, as I wouldn't usually go on about a relatively small item like this) and equally impressed with the company. They are a small business and, as a result, respond very well to any enquiry.Highly recommended AND you don't have to throw them away after a single use AND they come with a cleaning brush AND they drive in an old-fashioned banker's style envelope [see picture] made of paper not plastic (eco-friendly) AND being silicone based they will not be damaged in a dishwasher or freezer.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these straws. These are the right size. You can clean with the brushes they provide. I use my oxo straw brush to clean - it still fits! The reason we chose this size is because all the other straws are too long. We had some metallic straws. All the coloured paint started stripping off. So we landed that silicone would be the best option. Can't wait for these to become available again as I will surely be ordering a few more!Ordered in March 2021. Leaving a review in Oct 2021

Bought as a sustainable and safe alternative to our metal re-useable straws. The metal ones are ok, but I know my child is not going to damage her teeth or mouth with these beautiful bright and tactile straws made from silicone. They are very appealing and although you do get a little skinny brush to clean them, I just whack them in the dishwasher, they come out fine.A great buy and truly, truly exceptional customer service who really stand behind their products. (I might add that on the strength of quality of the straws, I bought myself some of their silicone wine glasses too, which again are quirky, eye-catching and fun to use and , I highly recommend those too!)

Love these have struggled to find a suitable disabled friendly straw. Some constructive feed back the felt sleeves are wrapped in plastic everything else is eco but not only do they not need wrapping they were in plastic, and the sleeves I've found useless if it's to cover the straw to carry it won't fit fully in difficult and awkward to use maybe a slim drawstring bag washable and covers all the straw would be of more use. But that said the straws themselves are perfect and well made and I will buy more

Been using these for over a year now and still working really well. We wash by just rinsing and chucking in the dishwasher. Only had 1 split in all this time but as photo shows we just cut off the end and works fine. No more splits. Us adult prefer the metal versions but kids always choose these as can have quick chew when drinking too!

These are super. Light, easy to clean & carry. Have been used by teething kids & still good as new. Smaller sized best for water/juice, wider are a little thinner & work well for smoothies/shakes.

Wow we have really struggled since the plastic straw withdrawal having a child with feeding and drinking issues it took us many years to get him to learn how to drink through a straw, these are so close to a average plastic drinking straw so the flow is about the same. Most of the silicone straws are much wider and for anyone with difficulties this can be very hard to adjust to.Lovely bright colours flexible but not to much, my son has chewed on one quite happily for the last 2 hours and it still looks good as new. Comes with handy handbag size pouch and cleaners.Highly recommended.

These straws are soft, flexible and comfortable in your mouth. The design is appealing and they are easy and practical to clean, even just swilling with warm /hot water will do in a pinch. The thickness is lovely, although it takes a while to get used to the fact you can't "feel" the drink on the way up the straw as well, especially with hot drinks (also works great on those). Loses one star for the fact I wish they were a bit longer. Would recommend, to me silicone is the best in the market.
