Works great not what I expected
Works great, I tested it outside of my computer to make sure it works before putting it in and it seem very accurate. I even go as far as putting ice cubes or hot water thought it; it seem to work idk why it has bad reviews but it works for me. I brought this because I couldn’t find any other water indicator that were in stock.

Buyer Beware!
There is no information anywhere on what material this thing is made from, not even on Bitspower’s own website. And why doesn’t the product page here have a FAQ section? Seems suspicious, as if the company is trying to hide that information.I’m willing to bet it’s made from aluminum, which is probably why Bitspower isn’t listing the material. Aluminum corrodes most other metals commonly used in custom water cooling components. I noticed some corrosion on the fins of my GPU block even though everything in my loop is either copper or nickel. Well, everything except this sensor, which is a complete unknown. It’s pretty shady for the company to not disclose the material and not have any warnings about metal compatibility. Don’t buy this crap unless you’re willing to roll the dice with aluminum in your water loop. This thing is outdated anyway and doesn’t even have a flow meter built in. Bad business practices, obsolete product. Get 1-starred.

Celsius vs Fahrenheit
It works as expected.Note:I accidentally bought the Fahrenheit version first but was able to replace/return as I did not use it.My only suggestion would be to maybe add a button on the unit itself that can switch between Celsius/Fahrenheit on the fly.

Save your money dont trust winfield c opinion.
I put one of these before entering the first component in my rig (cpu) and another after on my gpu. They both read the same temp within a degree of each other for both components (CPU & gpu) though the components themselves according to software well above the shown temp. Useless just a gimmick. Too bad I cant send them back now.Edit for the tool who posted on the 31st claiming I dont know how to use a component...Winfield C. I have been building systems for over twenty years so I know how components work. Yes the are measuring water temps but the water temp should be different entering a component, and exiting a component. These are meant to show the difference of temperature. It is you good sir who doesnt understand the concept that the temps of the components, will affect the temp of the water. These were to be used so that you know what inlet temps are and outlet temps are so you know how much difference there is for your cooling.
