These days you order something like this and never know whether you will get a high quality strap or something so thin and weak it shreds the first time you use it. This is the former and my only regret is that I did not order a longer length to have extra in reserve. This webbing is thick and heavy duty, as well as pliable. I used it along with a set of plastic buckles to outfit a new inflatable kayak to outfit the seats with longer straps to allow for easy reconfigurations, and to make straps to attach gear. Be sure to flame the ends of the strap when you cut it to prevent unraveling.

Quality materials.

This Webbing material is durable , reliable I don't think it's machine washable. More likely you'll have to take a damp cloth to clean it. Honestly I also purchased it to make wrist lanyards key chain. I used it for a custom job to put a loop on to the backpack. This crossbody backpack does not carry it. But yes it is a wonderful crossbody backpack. Yes you can use material like this on a sewing machine but you'll have to use a stronger needle. I actually hand stitched the loop onto the backpack. Custom job. Don't let anyone ever tell you you can't do a custom job onto something. It's called leaving room for imagination and creativity. And satisfaction. Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do a sew job.

Though this webbing might be strong, it's quite thin. It did not serve my purpose, which was to use it with separately purchased slider belt buckles. Totally failed. Now I have no use for it. Since writing the above I received a message from the seller offering to refund the price of purchase in full. I changed my rating from two stars to four in acknowledgment of this very generous offer. An unusual graciousness in this mercantile world.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Needed something stronger than those plastic tree ties for a small tree that keeps trying to lean. This is super strong and did the trick !
