K7460 Front Upper Suspension Ball Joint for Ram 2500

I’m always nervous buying truck parts off Amazon. But these are the real deal and a fraction of the cost from the parts store. I brought them over to a moog dealer near me to have them checked out first. They fit perfect, pressed in smoothly. Quality is top notch.

Perfect replacement for oem. Easy to install and so far holding up.

After done some research and check local parts house and compare price to Amazon it’s a no brainer Amazon was almost 1/2 the price for exactly same part. I has my doubts if it would fit or not, but the parts fit perfectly. I Love it and would continue buying from Amazon

Item was a better price than anywhere else I checked. Arrived on time and fit like it should. The good thing is it has a grease fitting, so it will last a lot longer than the factory ball joints! There are two different upper ball joints for my 2005 Dodge 2500. Unfortunately, the first one was not the one for my truck. It was the adjustable cam bolt style. This is a concentric bolt style, so check first. I had to go to the Moog website to find the part number for the correct one. The return was no hassle, and I ordered the correct one.

Edit: Changed to 1 star review. Failed after 20K miles. Found many many many posts of this happening all over the forums. Moog brand is not what it was. I put a few hundred more into a new set of balljoints over what Moog cost, that are built much better and have a removable race and pin so they never need pressed out again. Can also be adjusted to remove play as they wear. DO NOT BUY MOOG. The one I had was great, installed easily and was no problem. The other one for the other side...not so much. Since there is no "key" hole in the bottom for you to keep it from spinning, it appears that these ball joints rely on the nut going on super easy to seat the taper. Well...my second one didn't spin on easy and got the nut stuck. In the process of getting it off I destroyed the threads. So had to go make a trip to the local store and pick one up for $40 more than I paid for this one since I was in a rush, along with being out the money for this one. Didn't try getting it exchanged or returned because I have no idea how to prove it's a faulty balljoint. So lesson learned, if installing these specific balljoints, MAKE SURE you can by hand turn the nut all the way down to the taper before installing. Installed they are great, fixed the rocking issue my truck had at higher speeds.

We fixed the front end and less than 2 months later was involved in an accident that broke the tirod on our 2007 dodge diesel. We bought multiple parts for the front end and I've left the same review on all of them
