Do the whole job in a neat package
As long as you have the tester, these do everything you need. Cut the cable, strip the cable. Clean up the connections before crimping. I like that you can replace the blades although everywhere I have looked, they are quite expensive. Almost half the unit cost.

Excellent crimpers!
Crimp well with both cheap and high quality RJ45 connectors. The previous which I've ordered (other brand) couldn't crimp the cheap connectors at all and always had unpushed pins. The knipex is just working and it is not expensive for the quality you get! Recommended!

These work well, so much better than my old set.
Bought these for what I consider to be a great price ~30 quid. My old ones worked fine for a short time but soon started not crimping down fully. (~200 crimps) I have not done as many connectors yet with this one, but performance is soo much better, I fully expect they will be fine for hopefully years to come.

Nicely made and good value
I like Knipex products, these crimping pliers work really well and are nicely made.

Great for flat cable
Could do with a cutter for arbitrary lengths of round cable. You can't just cut without the stripping blades. There is a slot that you can use for stripping round cable to length though.

Reliable and trust worthy
Like most Knipex tools, this is a reliable workhorse that I bought when my old tool simply broke, so far it does the job extremely well, I reliably crimp RJ45 heads to CAT 5 and 6 cables with no issues. Well worth the money in my opinion.
