Effective!
I bought this item for my 10 lbs senior morkie, who has a heart issue :(. She always pants, so I try to keep her cool as much as I can. I have gotten other items that share a similar function as this bed for her. Although this bed is pricey, it works. It feels cool and stays cool. I leave this bed on the floor next to her little egg chair (to keep her elevated from the ground). She then can rotate between the bed, egg chair, the floor, and my bed. I got her the smallest size. My other dog, who is 20 lbs, likes this cold bed so much that he takes over (when he can), although it is kind of small for his body :).

Best dog bed EVER
My dog HATES dog beds bc she only likes the cold floor and wow she literally has been laying on this ever since we got it and when she first when on it when I opened it reacted as if she was getting a toy or something and was rolling on it just so happy about how cold it is. I’ve bought so many trying to be cold matt’s and beds for her and none were really that cooling but wow this is AMAZING. she’s asleep on it right now and i’m so happy bc it’s amazing back support as well! This is the first thing that has gotten her off the cold dirty floor!

Saw Cool Bed on Shark Tank
Had no idea such a product existed until saw "the pitch" on Shark Tank. They did not get a deal ...but was still interested in the product line. Believe this cooling bed is helpful for dogs that tend to get hot easily or live in warmer climates. Gave it 4 star rating because it could be a little more padded for 72lb senior dog with arthritis. Added a orthopedic pad under the cooling bed to achieve that goal. If the company offered a bed with extra orthopedic support that would be a plus. Can't say how this bed compares to other cooling beds but so far so good after 3+ months use in summertime.

Awesome dog bed
My dog absolutely loves the dog bed. It's soft and most important COLD! The bed is made with quality materials and is sturdy. PoMy dog thanks you tremendously for such an amazing product!

Disappointed
I was so excited to get this for my Bernedoodle puppy after reading the reviews. He runs very hot so I was definitely looking for something he could sleep on to keep him cool. I was super impressed upon arrival. And like another woman, I even laid on it to see the cooling factor. It was GOOD. However, the design has not been conducive for my dog(s)....I have a basset hound that likes to get in it too. The material that the top is made of is ridiculously easy to snag. After the first night, it was covered in micro-fine strings that my dogs nails had snagged. The next night he started pulling at these strings. Keep in mind, even though he is a puppy, he has never tried to chew the bed. But between he and my basset getting in and "nesting" (where the dog digs around to get comfy) they have destroyed the top. I've only had it one month and it's a mess. To pay $150 for a dog bed and have the design be such that it doesn't even last a month is more than disappointing. I would not recommend this bed to anyone. Unless your dog doesn't have nails and doesn't burrow around to get comfy. LOL.

Garbage…which is where it ended up
While I didn’t experience the cooling properties of the bed, my dog did seem comfortable lying up against the bolsters. This was short lived as the cover quickly frayed to an unsightly mess.I removed the cover to find the bed has two pieces; the bolster and the flat bed itself. I searched online and the COLDEST website for replacement covers to no avail. I reached out to COLDEST customer service who quickly responded but unfortunately COLDEST’s reply was that they do not offer replacement covers.After much back and forth, they offered a full replacement if I returned the bed to them (even though I purchased it on Amazon). This seemed like an acceptable outcome (although it would have been much easier and cost-effective to just allow me to purchase a cover). COLDEST told me that once I could provide them with a tracking number, they would ship me a replacement.COLDEST suggested I use a blanket on top of the new bed to protect the cheap cover from fraying (but wouldn’t that negate any cooling properties the dog may enjoy from the bed 🤔?).I packaged it up (I purchased the XL so finding a box I could jam it into wasn’t easy), so I reached back out to COLDEST and requested a return shipping label. COLDEST told me I had to “shoulder” the cost of shipping. So I went to the post office and for the cheapest, trackable option it was going to cost me $160!!!!Upon relaying this information to COLDEST, their reply was dismissive and uncaring stating that they would not have the cover available for sale and they would not assist in the return shipping. I could have bought a brand new bed for this price and then some!Now I am out the original price of the bed and will NOT be buying from this company again. Buyer beware!

Doesn’t wash well.
The media could not be loaded. The bed itself is okay. The dog was happy with it but beware when you go to wash it. The main external zip is good quality. The internal zip for the bolster is another thing all together. That zip is such poor quality the seam gets caught in the zip and it gets so caught up it ends up bursting the zipper. Once that zip is gone it’s impossible to use the bed without sewing the bolster in place, and rendering it unwashable. So buy with caution.
