The strap itself was soft and comfortable and didn't irritate or itch whilst using even after ...
Purchased this item after partially tearing my quadriceps playing rugby. Before I struggled to walk and any attempt at walking just worsened the injury. After using this I could walk normally again and recovery was greatly improved. Used it during rehab as well to support the muscle and noted a large difference to using it and not.Infidelity a must if you have injured your quad! The strap itself was soft and comfortable and didn't irritate or itch whilst using even after a few hours. Velcro was really, pleasingly strong. Did not loosen after prolonged use and was able to maintain a lot of tension. Was hot but very breathable so even in summer was't a hassle, as It didn't make my leg uncomfortable and sweaty.. The strap was thin so easily fitted under slightly baggy clothes. However this didn't impact its' function and was still effective. Also had a lot of leeway so will fit a large range of sizes comfortably.

Works well if you get it right
You need to find the level of compression to keep the strap in place. Too little if falls, too much it’s uncomfortable, but if you get it right, it works very well. I use it to help me following a hip replacement. It provides support and gives me confidence.

Great purchase
Does the job and provides good support. Partner used it when playing football and did not slide about.

Works
Great leg strap. Felt the difference without it on so was doing its job. Helped me massively.

Slips down leg
Nice material and fits well around thigh however if doing exercise it will slip down the thigh very quickly. I wanted it for hiking however after less than a mile it was slipping down and over my knee even though it was stretched tight at the start. I think I will need to sew onto my boxers for it to be of any use for walking. Ok for sitting around the house. Prob should have bought one that wraps around the waist too to prevent slippage.

The support keeps slipping down to my knees, not good for me!

Not too bad.
Had a thigh strain and got this to keep it compressed during rehab. It does what it says on the box but i would say that I have put it on as tight as it will go and it still slides down when walking about. If its supposed to be worn during exercise then i dont think it will work well. However, i have been mostly laying down and pottering about the house so its been OK. Would be much more stable if they added some kind of anti-slip coating to the inside like they do on cycling shorts or something. Anyway, loses a star for that but, otherwise a good product.

Very effective with my hamstring injury
Short version: this is a very effective and good quality product that's helped me to play football after recurring hamstring strains. Here's the longer version in case it's of use to anyone...I recently started playing football again and my left hamstring hasn't been enjoying it too much. For two months I kept straining/pulling it. I'd wait until it stopped hurting (usually 1-2 weeks), stretch it to death and then still strain it again during a match, hobble off and end up limping for a week.I've been wearing this for the last two matches now and the difference has been huge. I've had no further injuries so far (I haven't gone two matches without it pulling since the summer), no pain, tightness or discomfort during the match, and it keeps my leg nice and warm. The box shows you how to attach it to your thigh. I've read a few complaints about it slipping but I haven't had that happen to me at all, which can only mean some people haven't put it on tight enough. My tip would be to attach it as tight as you can whilst sitting down at first so you can ensure it's covering the muscles, and then detach one Velcro strip at a time and pull them as tight as you can within reason. It's worked for me.
