Works GREAT!!
I was a little skeptical - but it sure rakes up the dog/cat hair from just about everything I've used it on - furniture, carpet, bedspreads - works great. It doesn't keep it all in one wad -- you have to gather up the small wads - but it does it quick and well. Would recommend.

Actually works!
Such a simple looking device but it actually works. Use short firm strokes towards you and make a ball of fur which is easily picked up. Works even better when combined with a vacuum. We have 3 large shedding dogs and their hair gets woven into the material. It’s now easily removed.

Comparing fur removal tools
I'm tired of my furniture being covered in fur so went on a quest to find the best fur removal tool. I don't enjoy vacuuming all the chairs and couch everyday, so I was hoping one of these would work well.I'm comparing the Furdozer X6, Furdozer X3, the ZeBrush (or copy of) and the old red lint brush type.I'm returning the Furdozer X3. The plastic teeth are very stiff and hard. I thought they would be more rubbery or flexible, but they are a bit too hard for me. I would be afraid to use this on fabric like a bedspread or pillow. I tried on a chair and it did scrape the fur up. But both this and the Furdozer X6 basically drag the fur in a pile. So you have to gather it up by hand. This is probably fine for carpet and tough fabric that is horizontal. I don't see how it would work well on a vertical surface like a chair back. The Furdozer X6 was better for me. The rubber is softer. I does grab the fur and pile it up. It takes several strokes though and then you have to gather the piles by hand. It worked better on a vertical surface than the X3, plus this has lots of different edges and stuff to get in crevices, etc. But you still have to use it repeatedly to get all the fur up.The ZeBrush (or anything like it - I thought I was buying it but I got a version called Daxiaod) are basically like the red lint brushes we've had for years. The only difference is the new ones have a holder that you shove the brush into which pulls the fur off the brush you use. Not sure how well that works down the road once it gets really dirty in there. Both of these work by brushing against the grain of the brush and it grabs the fur which sticks to the brush. Then you have to clean the fur off the brush, and repeat the process. I feel like this is safer on softer fabrics because it doesn't pull that hard and it works well on clothes and in any direction. It's kind of annoying to have to keep cleaning it off to use it repeatedly. But it does gather the fur and eventually can get it all.In my opinion, there's not much difference between the red lint brushes of old and this new version with a case that takes the fur off it. Maybe slightly more convenient to have the case but the cost is quite a bit more. No difference in actual fur removal. Plus, I tried to order two regular ones, but their wording tricked me and I ended up with one big size and one travel size which I didn't want. My bad. I do like the Furdozer X6 and hope that between that and the lint brush, maybe the cleaning process will go faster. I think the X6 will get the fur "unstuck" from the fabric and then the lint brush will pick it up quicker.None of these are miracle products. You're still going to be scraping them across your stuff several times. Seems like in all the videos they show, the fur is just nicely sitting on top. That's now how it is in my house - the fur is embedded and it doesn't take long. And then it floats around too. Such a pain but it's the price we pay for our sweet kitties.

Where has this BEEN?!
I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and one husband. Fur is a never ending battle is this house. We have 3 mops, 2 vacuums, and a shop vac. NONE of those (expensive) things could pull the embedded hair out of the carpet like this thing can. I vacuum daily, but the stairs are just the worst. Took me about 10 minutes (and an arm workout) to scrape all of this off my 2 flights of stairs. GROSS! But awesome! If you get a thrill out of cleaning like I do, meet your new best friend. Stairs, couches, rugs, cars, dog beds- I gave the Furdozer the grand tour and it shocked me every time.Tips for scraping:1. GET THE BIG ONE. If you want to do anything other than small areas of a car, just get the X3 Mega. Your arms, and back will thank you later ;)2. do as the packaging says- scrape and pull towards you keeping the ribs flat on the surface. You will have the most efficient and thorough effect.3. The big side (fewer ribs) is great for longer pile items while the skinny side (more ribs) is good for shorter pile items.4. Wipe off the sides after use so debris doesn’t tarnish the ribs while it’s stored. This will keep them ready for the next marathon of gross

Not as effective as I hoped.
I was looking for something to assist with getting dog hair off my truck carpets. This takes a lot of work to gather the hair and it still misses a lot. I have two dogs with shorter hair. The husky mix sheds like crazy. I keep this in the truck for car washes but still seeking a better solution.

Great product
Gets the job done! I use it a lot on my cats blanket so I don’t have to shake it. I’m pleased with this product. Also use on pillows and sofa

Just fair- doesn’t hold on to fur
It can loosen some fur from furniture with repeated tries, but doesn’t hold on to it- so fur moves about or flutters to another area, and you have to pick it off the fabric in bits. A wet hand does better at removing/ gathering fur. Not worth purchasing, sadly.

Worth the hype !
I was really hopping this would be as advertised…. And it did Not disappoint ! Mind you I have only tried it on my couch so far but within second it worked well and did half my couch in a minute. One of my dogs is a short hair kinda dog and her fur weaves into fabric, I’ve tried using a electric lint roller , washing my couch often with a pet bristle as well as keeping my couch covered for the most parts to limit the amount of her fur being stuck in my couch fabric for the rest of times…. But now I am hopeful there’s a solution! I will be testing it out at my parents and bf house later this week so hopefully it also sturdy and last. So far loving it !!Edit: still loving this but it doesn’t work on everything as well as my couch material … I tried it on some entrance carpets and I was having a hard time but the product is durable and I just had to work a little harder … but if you have a material couch or carpet in the whole house it would work wonders !! I still love this product it made my couch look brand new and it even worked on a quilt blanket

Bought this for my clothes, not the furry beasties!
i bought this for my clothes instead of trying to find a good jelly roller or using the wasteful paper lint rollers. This is great for brushing fur into a pile for easy removal, i have an ultra shedding dog and two cats so very needed and i keep it in my bag, as its quite small, so its always handy!

One use
Works really well. But the one side has worn down to nothing after one use. Sadly it does not work now. Have the other side to use but put off using it as dont want to damage it
