It's surprisingly good for the price, the movement is realistic. The remote control has just forward and back buttons but it's quite effective as the mouse is able to do car-like manoeuvres in order to negotiate turning . The only draw backs are: the noise, it's quite noisy so my cat was a little frightened at the beginning. Batteries can die rather quickly if you leave the switch "on" under the mouse when not in use. Just switch that off when not playing and it will save battery power. Otherwise a great toy so it deserves 5 stars! Also it came very quickly so I recommend it.

The mouse is really big - more of the size of a big rat. As such, my cat (despite being a huge cat) was a little intimated and also not hugely interested. That is not the product's fault. Though battery for remote runs out really quickly. The mouse runs in a 'curve' and is not always easy to control. It is cheap though, so I guess it's hard to expect quality.

Absolute frustration. it stopped working in 2 days after arrival, cheap materials, arrived dusty, had weird micro-screws in place which you have to undo in order to put the batteries in, so if you don't have an appropriate screw-driver - you won't be able to do it. Spare yourself money and hassle

Extremely loud... Cats like looking at it from a safe distance, but it doesn't get them going unfortunately. If you have a cat which goes for larger prey, then this might be the thing for you. If, like mine, your cats are obsessed with small/tiny prey, perhaps use something else.

Purchased for my cat who enjoyed watching it move around but quickly lost interest in it. After a few bangs against my kitchen cupboards the battery compartment cover jammed and the item stopped working completely.The controller only allows forward or backward movement and depending what the small wheel underneath is doing it may go straight or in a loop.

Can't get the thing to work - have put batteries in both the hand set and in the mouse but no joy. Will ask one of the family to check if I have done something wrong! However, the toy itself is nice and I'm sure my puppy will love to chase it - when/if it gets going.

very pleased my kittens were little unsure at first but then chased it around kitchen floor run on carpit too but I think need new bats to run full speed carpet.Quick moving on the back kitchen floor kitten were chasing it full speed had lots fun for a good 40 mins

I do not recommend buying this item, it has a very strong scent. It doesn't always work on laminate flooring let alone carpet. After 3 days it just stopped working
