Lovely silky treat for your face
This is the first Murad product that I have tried, primarily due to the cost but having heard good things I was very keen to try when offered the chance. It's nicely packaged and appealing at first glance. It has a pleasant enough scent, certainly no worse than any other face product. The treatment even feels luxurious on the fingertips, weirdly silky, not the cream I was expecting, more like a gel. And a little goes a long way although I realised that through trial and error. It sinks completely into the skin, leaving no greasy trace - something I detest about most face products. As to whether it made a difference, it certainly made my skin *feel* nicer and much softer. I can't say that I could see any change. Although my poor ageing skin is rather neglected and so I really wasn't expecting much. Bit for the feel alone it was worth the effort. It's nice, feels a little box luxurious and will probably have a cumulative effect over time but don't expect miracles.

Excellent product for plumping up surface skin - quick results.
Murad Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence is a treatment which helps skin retain moisture and leaves it feeling and looking much smoother and softer.Easy to use; after cleansing just pump a couple of drops onto your fingers and massage over the face, neck and chest. The product immediately soaks into the skin without oiliness or greasiness. A light, silky formula which looks and feels like a gel and a little goes a long way. After you've applied the essence follow on with your moisturiser for optimum results. Results are good and I could see an improvement in the texture of my skin within minutes. It seemed to plump up which reduced the look of wrinkles and dryness. I even did a patch test on the rougher, dry skin on the back of my hands and even there the results were good. There is a fragrance but it's subtle and not in the least bit overpowering. As an older woman I think this is a excellent product and it's certainly one that works for me.Happy to recommend.

Smooth hydrating essence
Really light serum that I find only needs a drop and a half to spread over my entire face . It has a lighter consistency and feels smooth , blending in well without feeling oily or sticky . Within a few mins it's totally absorbed into my skin and my skin dies feel more moisturised .I have been using this for about 10 days now and within even the first day I noticed my skin was more pumped up and revitalised . It definitely helps with the moisturising and hydration of my skin .I apply my usual moisturiser on top and it blends together well - I previously tried a serum that started to bobble on my skin but this essence works great .Overall very impressed and pleased to recommend if you have drier skin or are in your forties upwards .

Light, silky and effective
This is a pre-moisteuriser serum similar to Boots No 7 serum, which is a good comparison product. This Murad serum, however, has a much silkier, softer texture than the Boots one. It is absorbed really quickly into the skin, giving (I think) an immediate boost in terms of tightening the skin and improving the appearance of fine lines. You only need one or two measures from the applicator to cover the whole face - the consistency of the white gel lends itself to covering a large area with relatively little product. As such, it's expensive, but a little should go a long way!Light but very effective, it's another great skincare product from Murad.

Noticeable Results In Just 2 Weeks
I've been using this face treatment now for 2 weeks, and the results are certainly noticeable. My skin type is dry, so in the winter I need all the help I can get! I applied the cream, fairly liberally, every night for a 2 week period, and my skin is most definitely more soft, and less dry after this period of us.The products comes out like a gel, but feels like a cream once applied to the skin, with very little oily residue upon application.All-in-all I am very impressed, however I do feel that some work could be done with regards to price. There is no doubt that this gives results in a short period above and beyond cheaper brands, but it is still very expensive.

Step aside Age-Diffusing Serum; there's a new wonder-serum in town...
Murad's Quenching Essence is the bee's knees. My skin felt softer from the very first application, and I started to see visible results after one week (I use this twice a day, under moisturizer); my skin was more radiant, the appearance of my pores has minimized, and the expression lines on my forehead started shrinking - I'm not saying that my lines magically vanished or anything, but the reduction in appearance is very noticeable to me, and is more then I've had using any other serum or moisturizer. This serum isn't heavy and adsorbs quickly, so my skin doesn't have that greasy feel after application. As it is a good hydrater and quick to absorb, it is great for wearing under makeup. It smoothed away my patches of dry skin and left a slight dewy sheen to my skin within the first week. I do have severely dry skin though, so I do prefer to use the serum under moisturizer. Based on my results; I would say that if you have oilier skin, then you could probably skip moisturizer.I've not suffered from any breakouts, itches or rashes on my dry and sensitive skin while using this; which is something that happens with 90% of creams, serums and other skin treatments I’ve tried (I’ve tried many different brands from all price ranges)._I've tried a few Murad moisturizers and whilst I liked them, I don't think that their must-haves. On the other hand their Age-Diffusing Serum has been a firm favourite of mine that was high on my rebuy list, as it has visible results within the same short time frame. However Quenching Essence has replaced it in my affections, as it provides more moisture to my very dry skin. I will be rd buying this.
