BabyDan FlexiFit, 67-105.5 cm, Extendable and Flexible Stair Gate/Baby Gate/Safety Gate, Metal, White, Made in Denmark - (Pet Gate/Dog gate)

As our grandson gets much more mobile, my wife and I wanted a stair gate at the top of our stairs. Since stair gates should not open out over the stairs, a "normal" stair gate would have either had to open over our stairs OR cut off half of the top landing area, neither option was acceptable for us. I decided to use the BabyDan FelxiFit in its "diagonal mode". Which works perfectly. When open it swings back against the wall out of the way. When closed, it stops our grandson from going down our stairs until we are with him. Even better, when our grandson is not with us, it can be removed almost entirely. Assembly was very easy, the enclosed assembly manual was very easy to follow, picture by picture. The resulting stair gate is very solid. As you can see from my photos, I had to add a strip of wood to the bring the wall out to match the width of our base board / skirting (the top and bottom "hinges" of the BabDan need to be aligned so that the stair gate can swing correctly). I also installed the stair gate in almost its full extension. So as shipped, the gate can shrink or extend to cover the widths of almost any opening. The BabyDan support site was very helpful, as I could download the assembly manual before my purchase to see if and how it might work on our stairs. Unfortunately the stair gate, as shipped, accidentally had two parts "C" and was missing its required part "E". I emailed the BabyDan support on Sunday afternoon, they replied (by email) at the beginning of the next day (Monday), and by the end of the week (Saturday) the part "E" had been delivered. BabyDan's support was excellent! This is a very well engineered product, with excellent product support, it was well worth the little bit of extra money to get the best solution for our needs! I would highly recommend getting this product!

Lots of people criticised this product's installation instructions but, if you take your time, they are absolutely fine. Do spend 10 mins checking the parts carefully as several are similar but fit slightly differently. Page 3 and 4 are for standard (approx straight line) fittings, 5 and 6 if you are fitting at a roughly 90 degree angle to the gate. I had one of each so circled the connections on each with a highlighter so I knew which to follow. BabyDan, it would be slightly clearer if you had left and right fixings in different diagram boxes. The gate took a bit of time to install, about 20 mins, with two of us taking our time. You do need 2 screwdrivers as one screws inside another. The screws supplied are for wood, if you are screwing into a wall you will need to get wallplugs as these are not supplied. The gate itself is fabulous. No trip hazard, fits an awkward shape at the top of the stairs and is easy to open. As a bonus there was a leaflet from BabyDan with a free gift for leaving a review that I intended to do anyway! The best bit was it had reduced in my basket when I finally went to buy it! To summarise, use your brain first to make sure you understand the different parts and which diagrams you are following for your home then use common sense working methodically.

Great stair gate when fitted, but the fitting process was hard for me to do. I got there in the end so its a great gate. Fits wide spaca and lock mechanism is good and baby proof. Easy to open through lifting the gate. Stable too.

Easy to put up, easily adjustable. Great quality. Easy to use. Suitable for various sizes and places. Looks very neat and presentable. Less bulky than other gates.

This gate is great, it's sturdy, easy to open and close one handed and can be trusted not to move unlike pressure gates. The person who gave the gate a bad review saying it was difficult to assemble and that it would leave holes in the wall clearly did not do any research. Gates that screwed into the wall are much more safe as they do not work loose over time and this gate can fit into most doorways. I originally bought one for the bottom of the stairs and then bought another one for the top of the stairs. I am now about to buy a 3rd for our kitchen doorway. My 21 month old son has already worked out how to open pressure fix gates by lifting it and I now need one he cant open! Great service too and yes it does take a bit of looking at the instruction to install but nothing a bit of thinking can't work out! I dont normally leave reviews but wanted to on this product as didn't want people put off by silly bad and ill-informed reviews.

Product is excellent to stop our two dogs from going upstairs at certain times of the day! I particularly like the fact that it does not have a bar at the bottom to trip over and I can manage to hoover the stairs without any problems. The fitting instructions are poor and a you tube tutorial would be great. Due to the poor design a lot of time was spent adjusting and re-adjusting the product prior to fitting . The screws provided were of poor quality and ineffective, most had to be replaced - thank goodness we have an abundance! Delivery was very prompt and thank you to the supplier for this. To summarise Delivery - Excellent - 5 stars Use of Product - Perfect, a solid and practical little gate that does not an eyesore. - 5 stars Instructions - only good use is for recycling waste! - 0 stars Screws provided - the manufacturer should invest in a better product as these let it down miserably. - 1 star they would be ok if you are savvy enough to put this together first time! r

Il prodotto è arrivato un giorno prima del previsto. Acquistato per impedire l'accesso al bagno, in cui ho le lettiere dei gatti, alla mia cagnolona che ha imparato a fare il "passo del ghepardo" attraverso il buco che avevo fatto sulla porta pur di entrare in bagno per "giocare" con le lettiere in questione. Il montaggio non ha presentato molte difficoltà se non il posizionamento dei blocchi e quella di dover tenere una vite ed avvitare l'altra in posizione scomode per bloccare "l'allungamento" del cancelletto. Avendolo montato all'accesso di una porta non ho dovuto effettuare alcun foro (altrimenti bisognerebbe farne 8) in quanto ho avvitato le viti direttamente nel legno. L'apertura è totale, come in tutti i cancelletti a fissaggio (mentre per quelli a pressione rimane una parte sul pavimento) ed è quello che mi serviva in quanto l'ho dovuto montare a circa 15 cm dal pavimento per far si che i gatti potessero passare anche a cancelletto chiuso. Non penso che l'apertura sia così comoda avendo una mano occupata ma, visto che a me è servito per un altro motivo, non posso che dare 5 stelle. P.S. Quando aprite il pacco nella parte che contiene i pezzi più piccoli fate enorme attenzione al pezzo "q". Questo pezzo è minuscolo e sembra un pezzo di plastica in più, non è così è un pezzo fondamentale. Mettetelo da parte lontano da gatti e bimbi o potreste perderlo.

Wir haben lange nach Schutzgitter gesucht um unsere Wohnungstür für unsere kleine Tochter sicherer zu machen. Haben uns dann für dieses entschieden, schon aus dem Grund, das es kein China Produkt ist und der Preis uns gefallen hat. Zum Aufbau: Man muss kein Profi im Handwerksein, das bekommt jeder hin. Es liegt alles nötig dabei, Bohrschablone (müssen noch ausgeschnitten werden), eine Montage Anleitung. Zu Montage Anleitung aus Papier, die muss dringend besser werden, alleine aus dieser ist die Montage nicht ganz so einfach, wo welche Zeile hingehören. Lädt man sich aber die App runter (in der App kein Regestrierung nötig), kann ein QR Code gescannt werden welche eine Video Montageanleitung bereitstellt, diese ist absolut spitze, es wird jeder Schritt einzeln erklärt und welche Bauteile und Schrauben benötigt werden. Wichtig ist natürlich zu wissen wie man die Türe montieren will. Nach erfolgreicher Montage hat man ein super Türgitter das sehr stabil ist und der Schliessmechanismus geht wirklich ziemlich schwer, dass wir uns mit eine Hand schwer tun, dass Gitter zu öffnen, so soll es sein. Fazit: Wir würden das Gitter jederzeit wieder kaufen. Baby Dan muss nur an der Papier Montageanleitung nachbessern nicht jeder möchte und hat ein Taplet zur Hand. Top Preis, top Versrbeitung.

Les patrons sont inversés pour percer, les schémas du mode d’emploi Sont complexes et difficilement compréhensibles...si vous êtes un peu bricoleur vous vous en sortirez.. A part cela, je suis ravi de sa simplicité d’utilisation, je voulais surtout pas de cadre à enjamber comme la plus part des barrières et l’ouvrir facilement et rapidement tout en garantissant la sécurité des enfants. Son style est discret et surtout elle pouvait s’adapter à un espace restreint car nous avions pas une grande ouverture ! 68 max...il fallait trouver la barrière qui s’adapta à ce petit espace. Bref une fois installé avec difficulté...on est bien content de cette barrière!!

Il prodotto è ottimo per robustezza, linea stilistica e funzionalità. Istruzioni di montaggio chiare (dima allegata preferibile un po' più rigida). La mia installazione è stata resa complicata da una parete di cartongesso da una parte e di calcestruzzo (pilastro portante) dall'altra, in più sfalsate tra loro. Fatti i fori (intervento più impegnativo), l'assemblaggio ed il montaggio sono stati piuttosto semplici ed il cancello si apre e si chiude molto bene. Nessun paragone con cancelli senza viti utilizzati in precedenza. Vivamente consigliabile!
