Retro-Bit Generations Plug and Play Console (Electronic Games)

This is a great little retro plug an play definitely one of the better ones, I am glad I ignored some reviews on YouTube about bad emulation on some of the games and got it anyway, most of the games are good and this is a cool gadget with HD and USB controllers that are fast as well as a fast boot up when you turn this on, also it is well made I hope they make another with moor classics in, definitely a step in the right direction now for the retrobit company they should sell this everywhere it will be a hit.

I was really looking forward to playing this but half of the games don’t even work :( ... I’m 20 and love all the old school games and consoles but I recommend that u find this console else where... don’t trust this seller!

Console was already opened when I received it! The cables to the controllers were used with the cables untied! I think a return console was accidentally sent to me

El artículo llegó antes de lo estipulado, al principio tuve problemas porque lo conectaba, se podía ver pero no se movía, parecía que los controles no servían, me.comunique con el vendedor y el amablemente me dijo que podía devolver el producto, justo antes de empezar con el trámite de devolución se me ocurrió probarlo en otra televisión, para mí sorpresa funciono muy bien sin problemas, algunos juegos no están muy entretenidos pero recuerden que son juegos de 8 y 16 bits, cuando iniciaba la revolución de los videojuegos. Ya descargue la llave y algunos emuladores pero no he podido probar el ingresarle otros juegos ya que la memoria micro que tenía estaba dañada, les comentaré después cuando tenga una nueva.

J'étais déçu au début jusqu'au moment ou jai trouver moyen de rajouter des roms dont du NES , SNES , Gameboy , Gameboy colour , Gameboy Advance !!! Les roms fonctionne bien dans l'ensemble et ça vaut vraiment le coup !! Je la recommande fortement pour ceux et celles qui n'ont pas de mini nes car avec cette console on peut mettre toute les jeux nintendo que l'on veut et meme chose pour le reste des système que j'ai mentionnez plus haut :)

Que nadie se equivoque, y dejemos claro el punto principal, la emulación en general, no es perfecta y en algún caso, deficiente.Dicho esto, el catálogo de juegos incluidos es de alucine, con exclusivas que nunca han salido de Japón, como Holy Diver, juegos homebrew como Zoom Secretaries, y grandes arcades de Capcom como Captain Commando y Knights Of The Round. La consola está bien construida, los mandos son sólidos y con un cable tan largo que incluso parecerá excesivo a algunos. Puedes conectarla tanto por HDMI como por componentes o Euroconector, y la emulación difiere en según que titulos, siendo la mas correcta, la de los arcades y máquinas de 8 bits como NES o GB. También puedes usar tarjetas SD para grabar partidas, aunque no son necesarias, puedes salvar en la misma consola sin problemas.Yo estoy muy contento con ella, hay otras opciones, claro está, y mejor implementadas, pero tenerla conectada a la TV del salón, y la inmediatez de poder jugar con mi peque a muchos juegos juntos ya vale la pena.Si eres un "purista" de lo retro, no la recomiendo, para todos los demás, encontrarán muchas joyas y diversión, a un precio mas que razonable.P.D. Si se busca un poco de información, existe una forma fácil de poder usar mas juegos con la consola a través de la SD, lo que la hace mucho mas apetecible.

If you are looking for perfection then you are buying the wrong product, there is no way that it will ever be as good as the NES Classic or other such items, however, really cool. There is an HDMI out which is missing from most other like systems I also like that it still has the AV out for older TVs. There are 90 games, the controllers are solid and feel like Genesis controllers from the early 90s period. The games are a bit obscure many of them I had honestly never heard of, some of them are GameBoy ports, some of them arcade games, some of them were old NES or Genesis games, some better than others. If you are looking for the most state of the art gaming system with flawless porting of 30 years of gaming history this is the wrong product for you, however, if you are looking to play some fun old school games that are more obscure on a lazy Saturday afternoon then this is the right product for you. The price is right I mean come on when I was a kid it would cost $60 for a copy of Street Fighter II, games a practically free in today's world. Enjoy your old school fun and don't over think it. I think our expectations for such things are way, way too high for such things.
