I'm looking for a durable swimsuit for my 4 year old, reviews say the sizes come up small so is a 24" likely to fit her?

I bought a 28 which is age 9-10 for my 6 year old. It fits really nicely.

Is this swimsuit tight??

Yes if you get the right size. I got size 28 for my daughter who is now 9 and 150 cm tall, and it fits well despite the height being shown as 140 and age 8 on the lable, but she is very slim. Size 30 is a little big still, will probably be ok in 2-3 months time. This particular type of costumes (Endurance, one colour) is very durable if you need them for training and frequent use.

10 year old tall skinny girl, what size??

i bought this for my 9 year old granddaughter - went for the size 9/10 and it was roomy but not too big. She is quite petite. My adviceI would be go by the height She is approx 135cm and the costume needs to be a fairly tight fit.

My 9yr old wears some clothing aged 12 years. I would be grateful for advice re: size to purchase of this costume as some mixed reviews. Thank you.

These particular costumes are durable and withstand chlorine well, of course you have to rinse after every swim. My daughter is a swimmer and this type (speedo endurance plus medalist single colour) is the only costume out of the budget ones that is of good quality and lasts, so I would recommend it. The size is a bit tricky as my daughter is very tall (5’4” at 10) and very slim. Currently she wears size 28 and 30 in this particular model as training costumes. It’s good on the body in length, 28 started being a bit tight in length though (pushes in the shoulders) and 30 is a bit lose on her body as she is very slim, but it’s comfortable for training, she does not race in these costumes anymore, although she used to when she was younger. Base your size choice on the height if your girl is of slim or standard physique, otherwise go for a size bigger. I hope this helps.

Perfect for school swimming

Perfect fit for my 132cm child. Room for growth but not too big. Doesn’t retain water, easy to squeeze out after use to bring home damp, not wet.

Excellent quality

This swimming costume was much more expensive on the John Lewis website. Happy with the prompt delivery and I ordered two sizes as there was some ambiguity about sizing. I kept the larger one and returned the smaller one, no questions asked.

Great quality but small to size

Great quality swimsuit. Exactly what I was looking for but small to size. Digs in underarms after only half hour of swimming lessons. Will buy again but next size up.

This is a good quality swimming costume although I bought size 6 for my 3 years old girl and fits her perfectly well. If you little one is big for her age buy a bigger size, otherwise really nice

Meine Tochter trägt zurzeit die Größe 110, wobei sie die Größe nur von der Länge braucht nicht von der Weite. Bestellt habe ich aber trotzdem 116 für 6 J., da sie ihn auch im Sommer tragen soll und wie man sieht passt der Badeanzug jetzt schon super. Er sitzt nicht hauteng, aber er schließt am Bein trotzdem gut ab, so das man niergens reinschauen kann. Bei schlanken und zierlichen Mädchen würde ich eine Nummer größer empfehlen. Bei normalen und etwas kräftigen Mädchen lieber zwei Nummern größer. So hat man auf jeden Fall länger was von.

Durable and made of good quality fabric and craftmanship! My daughter used it for a swim meet. The fit was tight which is how the suits are suppose to fit. The fabric is very nice. The sewing is done well!
