Full marks for a fly paper that really works.
Living in a cottage beside a sluggish river, flies can be a problem and we don't use pesticides. These fly papers are significantly better than others we have tried. Within a couple of hours we virtually cleared the kitchen of flies and midges, capturing perhaps 200 on one paper. Adding another, within a day we had upwards of a thousand flies dead, and feeling quite guilty about this mass slaughter! Really excellent result.

Works well.
Does the job ! Very sticky so be careful , but worked well for what we needed them for , stuck well to the roof, and got rid of our insect problem. Size is fine not super long so not going to hit your head on them.

Great for catching humans, flys... not so much
I had memories of fly paper that my grandma used to have hanging around her house, full of flies who spent their last moments questioning the decision to land on this handy strip hanging from the ceiling before they were no more. When i unwrapped this and hung it up, i had a feeling that maybe it wouldnt live up to my rose-tinted memories of yesteryear. For starters it wasnt yellow like my grandmas. Also, it would not hang straight, it just coils and hangs like an old telephone cord. Fine i thought, i guess its made of stuff thats more friendly to the planet, im sure the flys dont care for the colour anyway.I placed the "catcher" near where we have a kitchen food waste bin. Those pesky flys always hang around there so I was sure to hit the jackpot. This was to ne a no-go zone for flys. Or so i thought, fruit flies walk along this with impunity, they stick to this stuff as much as they would stick to a fridge magnet. Ok, one star off the raiting i thought, maybe i was asking to much, those fruit flies are so tiny that their little feet probably dont give the glue much to stick to.Then a normal run or your mill big fat house fly landed on it. I shouted to the missus, "WE HAVE OUR FIRST VICTIM!" Sadly, despite being on there for a good few minutes, it did manage to struggle free. I can only hope that it flew home to its mates and warned them to stay away, as it told a story of action and fear over whatever flys drink when telling stories.Sadly after hanging this up for a period of 2 weeks the number of corpses adorning this catching device was exceptionally low. I may repurpose this and use it around my treat tin so catch my kids stealing treats as it definately sticks to human hands. Perhaps thats how this was tested? I guess the world doesnt like testing on animals or insects these days...

Very fragile, and prepare for sticky fingers!
They work okay once youve hung them up, but the pins to attach them to ceilings are built into the plastic caps. You need to pull the cap off very carefully because they're covered in sticky goo. I couldn't push the built in drawing pins into my ceilings, because they are hard plaster. After trying the first one with my fingers slipping in sticky goo I gave up. I drilled holes in my ceilings and screwed small hooks in to hang the fly catchers on. I hadn't read the instructions about rotating the container anti clockwise as you pull it down and ended up with sticky tubes for the first two attempts. Then one pulled away from its hanging ribbon as I pulled it down, covering me in sticky goo. It's very hard to get it off your skin! I stuck it back together and was sitting at my dining table when it fall off, landing on the table! What a mess. You find places in your home where they'll catch more flys than others by experimenting, The ceiling hooks are a good idea because you can put them in several places then move the fly catchers around to the places where they're most effective. Used with care, twisting them as you pull them down, they can work very well.

Does the job brilliantly and low cost 👍
👍I’m genuinely impressed with how effective they are at catching flies and other insects. They work really well in areas that are prone to flies/bugs and definitely midges.I like that they’re pesticide-free, which makes them a safer option for homes with pets and children. They’re very easy to use, just hang or place them where flies are most active, and they do the job. They really make a difference in the kitchen. The adhesive is strong and holds the insects in place. I also appreciate that they can be used both indoors and outdoors, making them versatile for areas like patios and gardens. For the price, 16 strips offer great value, and I’ll be set for quite a while. One thing to keep in mind is that the adhesive is very strong, so it can be tricky to handle without getting it on your hands or other surfaces. After a while, the traps can start to look unsightly, especially when they’ve caught a lot of flies. The adhesive loses its effectiveness over time, so you’ll need to replace the strips for best results.Overall, these fly paper strips are an affordable, easy-to-use solution for controlling flies and other insects without chemicals. They’re very effective at first but should be replaced regularly for maximum performance.

Very pleased - the flies don’t stand a chance.
Excellent - so many flies caught already. Very sticky so don’t forget where you’ve hung it and walk into it - the buzzing is unnerving. It’s quite tricky to pull out of the tube, so take your time unwinding it as you gently pull. Very good design which even includes a pin.Very satisfied customer.
