Very good quality panel especially for the money. tested in the sun and performs as advertised or better. its appearance is not exactly the same as in the picture, it does have 36 cells, the one in the picture has 54, so they need to update their picture. 36 cells is the correct amount for a 12 V nominal system, so there is nothing wrong with the panel it just looks a little different than the photo. i intend to use it to trickle charge my van that sits a lot without being driven so the battery slowly drains. this should be a perfect size for that.

Pretty solid little unit. Put out 13.4v at .3 amps in full sun while on battery maintainer.

Nice, simple little solar panel. Note: the panel is sold with no plug or clips on the wiring - you will need to solder/attach what ever clips you intend to use to attach the panel to your 12v car or vehicle battery. This is the 2nd 12v solar charger I've purchased. The other was $5-$10 more, but included alligator clips to attach to your battery as well as suction cups to keep the panel stuck to a windshield or body panel. This simpler set up works fine provided you're okay with installing your own alligator clips.

I used these to make my own solar powered battery pack for my trail cameras. Have been in the woods a few months now and still works great. make sure to pair this with a solar charge controller if you plan to charge a small battery with it. I only wish they made another panel a bit smaller at 2.5 W because this one is a bit overkill for my setup, but i’d rather have too much power than too little

Deceptive add shows a charge controller in the picture. This does not come with a charge controller for overcharge protection. Will be returning this.

I used this Solar panel alongside a 7ah battery to help run a linear actuator on an outdoor chicken house. I had to make a bracket for the solar panel but that was not a problem at all and allowed me to customize it to the building I was mounting the panel on. When I first opened the package I laid the panel on my kitchen table which receives mostly indirect sunlight and I immediately tested the panel. I was surprised to see that it was already generating power without being outdoors. I have had it now for 3 weeks and in freezing temperatures without any issues. Great product.

The first time I put a meter on it it shot up to 17vdc so if you plan on hooking up anything sensitive you better have a voltage regulator. Seems sturdy enough with an aluminum frame which will help with mounting. Only time will tell if can hold up.
