Does it's job!
Bought for to use for a bioactive Gargoyle gecko terrarium, a species needing higher humidity. It was getting cumbersome remembering to mist his tank twice a day so I finally gave in amd searched for a misting system but they were all SO expensive. This was a new product with no reviews when I bought it bought it, but ones similar had nice enough reviews and this one had a coupon lol sold. Now to the actual specs. It functions very nicely. Setup was easy enough. I got a 5 gallon refillable reverse osmosis water jug from my local grocery store to use as a reservoir (I do recommend RO or at least heavily filtered for spots on the glass and longevity of the pump)It is a bit noisy but you get used to it. And the tubing goes into the holes a little tough, so be ready to maybe make a little mess the first time you run it lol but it was entirely user error.Sorry for the novel.

DONT BUY! Multiple units- multiple malfunctions.
The media could not be loaded. I’m using these in reptile terrariums. The last thing I need is for these to malfunction while I’m not home and suffocate my animals.I started off with 2 units. Both malfunctioned.Got 2 more units (and an extra 2 just in case), now one of the new ones is malfunctioning. So out of 4 tested, 3 failed. At this point I don’t even care to try to rest or install the newer 2. These are trash. I had a system installed before- never malfunctioned. The only reason I decided to upgrade is because my old system only had time intervals of 5 seconds- so 5, 10, 15…, I needed something more customizable (3 seconds, 7 seconds, etc) but these are the absolute WORST, certainly nothing like an upgrade. Will be returning all promptly. With a product like this you need something reliable and electronically sound. Please see the video. The device is set to go off for 2 seconds, every 1 hour. But you can hear it repetitively cycle and go off every few seconds. This is a random malfunction, it can happen literally out of no where. Worst misting system on the market.

Kinda complicated to set up just to provide a mist
First impressions were, “wow, there are a lot of pieces to this setup.” I’m not good with design, even if that means cutting up small pieces of tubing and running them into the terrarium, attempting to keep everything secure. I had a heckuva time setting this up and I especially don’t care for the need of a water reservoir outside of the tank—our gecko resides in the kiddo’s room and any exposed water containers creates additional opportunities for spills and the impending mold that comes with them, especially when unnoticed and left to fester.Once assembled, programming is a breeze, albeit oversimplified (for better or worse, that’s for you to decide). Set duration of spray in seconds and on which hourly schedule to spray. We had to do some trial an error with this part to find out which times of day & night the humidity dropped most. The lamp is only on during the evening’s in winter but it’s in 24/7 in summer (since we keep the AC at 71F). If the heat lamp is off and the tank gets misted, the mist just makes the tank temperature lower and doesn’t raise the humidity much. For each season, we will adjust the both the spray duration and frequency. All in all, it does it’s job and once it’s installed it really simple to operate and maintain. If your pet requires a more regimented misting schedule or requires a delicate climate control, maybe try something else that monitors and maintains specific temps & humidity levels, otherwise, this one will do just fine!

Works nice, looks great
Especially when you live in a dry environment as we do, a mister/humidifier is a necessity for a reptile enclosure. It doesn't have to turn the room into a rainforest to be helpful, and this unit is more than adequate. It's is easy to set up with detailed instructions, and it looks terrific. Simple to operate and quiet.

Works but wish could program the time
Problem with this unit is if you want it to go off at 8 am every day, you have to be there to start it at that time the first time. So if you have a power outage it forgets when to run, and mists whenever power is reconnected again besides. Wish I had realized this but I didn't get it set up right away and now it's too late for me to return.
