Way Better Quality Than Expected for $40
For $40 I was pretty skeptical about whether this would be sturdy enough, but it works great. At 200 lbs I'm not heavy but I'm not a lightweight either, and this thing doesn't flex at all during pull-ups. Very good quality construction that feels solid and secure. Came very timely with good packaging and everything arrived intact. Installation was pretty easy with decent instructions, and they even included extra screws which is a nice touch. The joist mount design is rock solid once properly installed. For anyone wanting a home gym pull-up bar without spending hundreds, this delivers way more quality than the price suggests. Highly recommend.

Very decent pull-up bar
So far so good. Simple, sturdy and fairly easy to install. The grip feels fine. Make sure you measure your door frame before buying to ensure you will be able to install the bar. Pro tip: don't put the screws in the middle as suggested in the instructions (which is what I did). A better placement would be to put the upper screws on the outside end and the lower screws on the inside end. That way you will help the installation to better withstand the torque created when you are pulling (especially when using the neutral grip).

Excellent pull up bar
This is a sturdy, well made product. If you are moderately handy then assembly and installation will be quite straightforward.

Love it
Very sturdy, no creaking when using. I'm 6'3 215 pounds. I have to bend my knees but it works great. The grip is good with the cushioned handles. When I tightened the bolts to the rafter the steel bent a little from the screw. Doesn't effect the functionality at all.

Simple and quick assembly required.
The pull up bar is solid enough to get the job done. It does come in 3 pieces and requires assembly. I was a bit worried that it won't be as sturdy since it's not a single solid bar but after using it a couple times, so far, it holds up.

Dopo averne visionate molte, finalmente una con i sostegni triangolari ai lati della sbarra. Montaggio semplice. Robusta, senza essere pesantissima. La uso quotidianamente per trazione passiva. Costo contenuto. Per me ottimo prodotto.

This review assumes that you're looking for an affordable pull up bar and understand that it comes with some compromises as compared to the expensive ones. For example, if you want a solid bar with no seams, you probably have to pay way more. I wanted to get better at pull ups and the only way to do that is to do more pull ups. Unfortunately, the way my house is built the only option I had was to get a joist mounted bar and put it up in my laundry room. Assembly of the bar itself was easy. Installation was a bit more complicated because I have metal ceiling joists. The included hardware is for wood/concrete mounting only. So, I had to make a run to the hardware store to get some nuts and lock bolts. The bar works well for doing pull ups. It has a variety of hand placement options to accommodate anything from wide grip to narrow grip. How much extension you can get at the top will be a YMMV situation depending on how much headroom you have. If that's really a consideration make sure you do some measurements before you buy. You might be better off with a wall mounted bar (more $$$, takes up more space) or a freestanding pull up bar (more $$$ and takes up floor space).
