Peace of mind, Worth the money.
Excellent product. Discreet, easy to set up and use via the app on tablets and mobile phones. Can record onto a micro SD but be aware this is mainly for observation as you only record 10 x 15 minute slots in total via the schedule that you determine via the app. Can watch recordings back via the app which stays in the camera. Used to monitor elderly parent/care workers.

Add SD for maximum use
This is very easy to set up, and works well for what you need it for...i.e. keeping an eye on what you need to - in my case, an elderly relative whilst we were away.Good picture, very clear, but needed careful placement to ensure there wasn't sun or glare issues. We also found the usefulness of the addition of an SD card essential.Overall, recommended.

Live but no remote recording
The camera on this is OK but the only recording available is limited to an SD card so if someone broke in they would just have to remove that or take the whole thing to remove any evidence. What it does well is give live feed with sound and a wide angle view of a room. It's very straightforward to set up if you follow the instructions using the app and remote view works well enough. You can set up recording to the SD card the same way. You can also talk back through the app which might be useful if you have a dog but it's too quiet if the subject being monitored is an elderly relative who is likely to be hard of hearing. There are better and more suitable products elsewhere.

Not useable away from home...
In many ways, this is a great product – easy to set up and configure, great quality picture, wide field of view. Certainly the best image of an IP surveillance camera I have used. The provision for local storage is a nice touch, even if you have to buy a micro SD card to do so. The software is generally good, with a slight let down – you can set schedules for recording, but not for motion notification, which requires you to turn it on and off whenever you come and go, lest you get a continuous stream of irritating messages. The problem is that while you can log into it away from home, there is no video if you are connected to any other network. Audio is just fine, both receiving and transmitting, but no video, no matter how low the resolution is set. Several complete reset attempts and an email to Panasonic did not resolve this. I’d think it was a router issue, were it not for the fact that the login and audio work just fine, and my Motorola camera has no problems. This may be a server capacity issue; it may be an ISP issue. I will test again periodically, but right now, the camera is not useable for its primary purpose, so I have to give it only one star.

Very Nice camera. The quality of the image is really good, and the amplitude of vision of the room is great. I recommend it. And you can put a micro sd card and not be dependent of a cloud.

Cool 😎
Seems to work okay.I found it a little bit fiddly to set up. Once working it was fine good quality pictures so you can see Burglar in HD. Would be great to keep watch on a baby too..Decent product.

Brilliant home camera, with peace of mind and stylish presentation for a sensibly reflective price . Highly recommended.

Didn't work away from home - fine when at home, that's not when I need it
So a one-star review for a Panasonic HD camera? What's up?It was easy to set up on my Android phone and didn't require using its wireless network to configure it then switching back to my home wifi (iOS users are not so lucky). So it all worked fine using my wi-fi. Turning that off, and using my 4G connection resulted in the screenshot you see below. I reduced the camera's video resolution to the minimum with no change to the result. A support email to Panasonic elicited a fairly quick response, but which basically said "Reset the camera. Remove from the Android app. Set it up again". So I did with exactly the same issue. No joy then.At home on my wifi it all works great, with a pin-sharp image. I don't think 1080P is required for use on a camera and, indeed, reducing the resolution significantly still gave a great picture on a 5.5" Android phone. But I still haven't got it working when not on home wifi. I suspect that maybe my router's firewall is blocking the video in some way (the audio comes through fine!) but I can't spend any more time trying to resolve the problem. Perhaps it will work some time in the future when I have a different router.Ironically, I have two other 'nanny cams', one that cost about £20 and one that cost about £70 - all work just fine when away from home, so I just don't get why a branded camera from Panasonic has problems.
